He Spanked Me
Storming out of the building to the parking lot, Elaine traced their car and rested her back on the passenger’s door, waiting for the man she’d left behind.
Finally, he walked into her space, sparing her a glance before opening the door. Just as he slipped into the car, she wasted no time and got in.
“From your expression, I can tell how aggravated you are.”
She scoffed at Xavier’s words. When would he ever sit still and let her plan work? She wanted to scream at him. Folding her hand under her chest, she looked outside of the window as the car started. These days, she gets angry at every little thing anyone does.
“Oh shit,” Xavier groaned.”
“What now?”
“We’ll have to stop at the gas station. We ran out of gas already.”
“Whatever.”
Her lips twitched as Xavier drove into the station, turning off the car, parking in front of the gas salesperson.
“I’ll be right back.”
He climbed out, rounded the car, and stood in front of the woman, her eyes fixated on him.
Elaine rolled down her window.
“Fill the tank,” Xavier’s voice rang from outside. Smiling at him, she proceeded to do as he asked, placing the fuel nozzle in the car’s tank and bowing at him. As she bowed, her shirt button popped open, revealing her cleavage, part of her endowed breasts. She was a carrier, that, Elaine noticed.
‘That bitch,’ she gritted her teeth.
“You live around, mister?” The woman asked, striking up a conversation.
“No.”
“Ahh,” she nodded. “You look like you are not from here. I have never seen you before. Are you perhaps from the state?”
“Yeah.”
“Oh my, that is wonderful. I have always wanted to meet with a hot state guy. Are you here for a vacation or something? Perhaps business?”
“It’s a vacation.”
The woman nodded in understanding. All these while, she never stopped smiling, pushing her hair behind her ears and folding her hands under her chest so that her breast pushed forward. Cheeky.
“You must be having a lot of fun. By the way, I am Amelia. My friends call me Meli. Nice meeting you….”
“Xavier.”
“Xavier is such a masculine name. It is wonderful to see you. If you are free anytime soon, you can visit the apartment two blocks from here, Mr. Xavier. Or better still come here so we leave together. I’m always available on your call.” She turned to look behind her. “That’s my number on the walls. Do give me a call.”
As Elaine witnessed their whole interaction, she couldn’t help the anger that rode up her insides. How dare the woman shamelessly flirt with someone’s husband in broad daylight. She knew Xavier was wearing his wedding ring and she might have seen it. But the bitch didn’t back away. And Xavier? He was busy replying to her questions.
Didn’t they say in news articles how cold he was to women and how he never gave any attention to them?
‘Cold my ass.’
For all she cared, he could flirt with the whole world if he so pleased. But he shouldn’t do it before her.
Deciding that she had enough, she pushed the door open, stepping out of the car loudly and getting the attention of them both.
“Oh hi,” she waved at Amelia. “I’m Elaine Xavier Romano.” With emphasis on his name, she continued. “His wife.” And so, she turned to Xavier, laughing inwardly at the lady’s expression. She looked like she just saw a ghost.
“You’re not done buying, darling? I’m tired.”
He raised a brow at the endearment. “Soon.”
“I…I didn’t know that his wife was with him. Forgive me.”
“It’s fine, you didn’t know.” But Xavier did.
Amelia bowed and shrank backward.
“By the way, where is the restroom?”
“Straight and then to the left.”
Passing her a grateful smile, Elaine made her way to the station building, taking the direction of Amelia. She didn’t understand why she stormed out of the car and why she felt anger at Xavier, plus these days, she gets angry too easily. Perhaps it was the stress from the wedding?”
Getting to the destination, her eyes met with the table man.
“Hey, what are you going in there for?” He stopped her.
“It’s the restroom, of course I’m going there for my body business.”
“Only workers can go in there.”
“That’s a first. But I’m pressed, what do I do.”
He leaned In. “You can pay me in another way when you’re done.”
“Fine, fine. Humans and bribery.”
Striding into the restroom, she stood in front of the mirror before splashing a decent amount of water on her face, letting out a sigh of relief.
Once she finished, she stepped out of the restroom to the man. A footstep away from him, she realized she had no cash to give him.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, mister. I have no cash in me.”
“What?”
“I’m so sorry. I can go get it.”
He sighed. “No big deal. You can pay another way.”
“How?”
******
After filling his tank, Xavier looked around for his wife, and only after he saw her strolling toward him did he round the car and get into the driver’s side.
A frown settled on his face at her expression. She was storming toward the car in anger, fingers trembling.
Finally, she got into the passenger’s seat, sitting beside him and fiddling with her nails.
“What happened?”
She shook her head.
“I asked a question, doll. Who offended you just now.”
“It…it’s nothing. Let’s just go back. I…I want to sleep.” Saying that, she looked outside the window, avoiding his piercing gaze.
Xavier's hands shot out to grab her chin and force her to stare at him, her red eyes trying to look everywhere but him.
“The fuck is wrong with you, hmm? If you don't speak, I'm afraid I'll have to find out for myself,” he threatened. She was fine before she left for the rest room and all of a sudden, she came back boiling. He wasn't buying the excuse that nothing was wrong.
“I was going to just wash my face and return to you but… but, the clerk asked that I pay after using the restroom.”
“And?”
“When I came out, I realized I had no cash with me so I told him I was going to bring cash. But before I…I could take a…a step, he…he.” The word hooked on her throat forcing her to swallow it down.
“What did he do, doll? Tell me.”
“He…he spanked me.”
