Chapter 106 Attacked

Jack was severely injured, losing his combat ability.

Lucy gritted her teeth and cast another Air Shield on Candice.
Now they could only hold on until William returned. Otherwise, Thomas would be enough to slaughter them all. Lucy knew this well. She had already used a Restoration spell on Candice once and on Pill when it returned. She had cast five shields on Candice, one on Natalie, and one on Pill.
Now her mental energy was on the verge of exhaustion. She couldn't even spare a thought for Pill, whose shield had shattered, or for Jack, injured on the ground. She could only protect Candice.
But she didn't know how much longer she could hold on. Maybe next time, she wouldn't be able to cast another Air Shield.
'William, why aren't you back yet?' She desperately called in her heart.
