Chapter 338 Breaking the Micro World
Lord Lopez met up with the other three Lords at this super-secret spot of the Zero Commerce Guild.
Now, only two Lords were left standing. Lord Ward? Yeah, they didn't bring back his head, just his headless body.
Lord Gray was out cold, deep in a coma. Brody took one look at his injuries and thought, 'This doesn't look good.'
The only one still conscious was Lord Flores, but she was in bad shape too. Thanks to her three-star Evolving physique and some potion she had stashed away, she managed to pull through just enough to lead the team.
As for their followers? Less than half made it back.
"Well..." Lord Lopez was visibly shocked. He never expected the four Lords teaming up would end like this.
In the history of the Zero Commerce Guild, apart from the early days when the Nine Lords and the president and vice president often fought together, the biggest trouble they had encountered only required the deployment of three Lords, which had already been an overwhelming victory.
But this time? Not only did they not win, but they also took a massive hit!
If Lord Gray died too, the Zero Commerce Guild would lose two Lords at once, nearly one-fifth of its strength.
Lord Flores said, "Lord Lopez, you don't look so hot yourself."
Seeing Lord Lopez covered in blood, with wounds all over his exposed skin, Chloe mocked in a hoarse voice that was barely recognizable.
But the tone was more like self-mockery.
Brody remarked, "Even if our plan was exposed, William should have been held up by The Sanctum Institute. How did you..."
No one knew the expression under Lord Flores' mask, but it spoke volumes that it must be full of bitterness.
Lord Flores said, "We still underestimated William's abilities. He teamed up with the two strongest organizations in Accraville City and used his gains this time to create an even more powerful Chester and Stella Cooper. Do you know, he even gave that green longbow 'Shuriken' to that bitch Stella."
Lord Lopez was stunned because, in his or any other apocalypse survivor's mind, something like Shuriken, which was almost the best weapon now, had to be kept for oneself. How could it be given to someone else unless it was exchanged for the five-star Evolution Elixir that William needed? But now, the five-star elixir was something that not even the Zero Commerce Guild had.
The situation wasn't hard to imagine. After a brief thought, Lord Lopez understood why. William used the green equipment Shuriken to exchange for resources for his subordinates' large-scale evolution, achieving an absolute increase in strength.
If this were his own situation, would he be willing to do that for his subordinates? Brody felt he couldn't do it because it would undoubtedly slow down his own evolution.

The sudden incident left the Zero Commerce Guild members stunned. This was their secret base, not completely hidden but in a semi-enclosed space with hundreds of eyes watching. No way an outsider could just pop in here.
So, what was up with this sudden figure?
In the midst of everyone's shock, the figure immediately went after the retreating Lord Lopez, who was clutching his eyes, blood streaming through his fingers.
"You broke my Micro world? This is impossible! You should've starved or died of thirst in there long ago. How are you still alive?" Lord Lopez had lost his usual cool, his voice full of disbelief and a fear that the other members of the Zero Commerce Guild had never heard before.
A knife slashed towards Brody Lopez's wrist, the one covering his eyes.
Blood splattered, and a deep wound appeared. Brody Lopez snapped out of it from the intense pain and, with his other good hand, punched towards Gemma's chest. If he could just push back this woman who now looked like a madwoman, she'd be overwhelmed by the approaching Lord Flores and the Zero Commerce Guild warriors!
Even if she broke the Micro world, she'd have to pay the price! Her combat power would be lucky to retain even a tenth!
Unfortunately, he was up against Gemma, a woman with no fear of death.
She didn't dodge at all!
The punch landed on Gemma's chest, and the familiar sound of bones breaking was heard, but the knives in her hands still slashed out.
Brody was shocked. He turned his body, opened his fist, and grabbed Gemma's wrist!

Lord Lopez screamed in pain for the second time today.
The sound of bones breaking and tendons snapping made everyone's teeth ache. The approaching Zero Commerce Guild warriors watched in horror as Gemma, with half her face completely destroyed, bit off Lord Lopez's left hand.
Brody punched Gemma in the ribs, breaking the bones there.
His only thought now was to get Gemma off him. He was scared that his throat would also be bitten off.
Gemma, freed from the restraint, grabbed Brody's severed hand with her nearly rotten hands and let out a manic laugh.
"I'll take your hand back to feed the dogs!" She straightened up from Brody and suddenly charged towards Chloe.
Already severely injured, Chloe was terrified by Gemma's crazed behavior. She couldn't imagine how this woman, with almost no intact part on her body, could bite off Brody's hand in an instant!
She instinctively dodged, and even Lord Flores was a bit scared.
"Nice mask, I'll take it." With a clang, Chloe's weapon blocked Gemma's short knife, but she heard those words. She hurriedly touched her face, only to find it was too late. Her face felt a chill as the mask that hadn't left her face for hundreds of days was taken.
"No!" Chloe, revealing an ordinary woman's face, let out a heart-wrenching scream. That mask was nearly half her strength!
Gemma knocked aside a few Zero Commerce Guild warriors and the door, with new wounds and a body like a rag, disappeared from their sight.
