Chapter 166 Secret Weapon: Osmium!

Killing the Mind Parasite was always William's top priority.

It was also a tactical necessity. When the Mind Parasite didn't bother to leave and arrogantly used a level-three Hundred-Handed Zombie to guard it, William had already cooked up a battle plan.

The Hundred-Handed Zombie was no joke. Its strength, speed, and those flexible tentacles made it a real pain. Even the Radiant Seal Blade Master's powerful skills couldn't take it down in one hit. Normally, William wasn't sure he could beat this thing.

But today, he knew one thing: the Hundred-Handed Zombie had to protect the Mind Parasite.

Sure enough, when Pill charged in, two tentacles that were attacking William suddenly whipped back and wrapped around Pill's waist in mid-air!

The timing of the move startled the golden dog.

But Pill was a level-two mutant dog, evolved by munching on other level-two mutants. In a crisis, it didn't back down. The coarse, hard fur on its neck shot towards the Mind Parasite. Without waiting to see the result, it twisted in mid-air and bit down on the tentacle holding it.

William shifted slightly in the same direction as his dog's attack, making it look like he was struggling against the tentacles.

The Hundred-Handed Zombie turned slightly too.

Keeping both enemies in sight was just instinct.

At that moment, William pointed at the back of the Hundred-Handed Zombie.

In the forest, there were materials for basic Coagulation and Arousal spells everywhere.

A large tree instantly transformed into a treefolk covered in brown bark. Its massive wooden arms swung towards the back of the Hundred-Handed Zombie's head.

In an instant, the Hundred-Handed Zombie was attacked from three sides.

The Mind Parasite, unable to dodge Pill's upgraded needle and thread attack, could only raise its arms to shield its head. The golden hard fur pierced through its arms and reached for Owen's face, who was controlled by the Mind Parasite. If it hadn't tilted its head back at the last second, the fur might have pierced its eyes and hit the Mind Parasite's main body.

This made the Mind Parasite furious. It used its bizarre hands to shield its face, opened its large mouth, and emitted a silent wave.

The treefolk's massive wooden arms struck the back of the Hundred-Handed Zombie with such force that its tentacles flailed wildly.

The two tentacles restraining Pill stiffened, and the big dog bit down. Its sharp teeth pierced the tentacles and left deep wounds as it shook its head.

William's Edge of the Moon didn't stay idle either. He swung his right arm upward, accurately severing the two heavily injured tentacles.

The three-sided attack instantly inflicted severe damage on the already wounded Hundred-Handed Zombie. It howled in pain, lost its balance, and fell to the ground!

William wouldn't miss this chance. He raised his blade to finish off the creature.

But before he could act, a head-sized rock suddenly flew out from the forest, whistling towards him at such speed that it was on him in a blink of an eye.

The sudden attack caught William off guard. He quickly raised his Arm shield to block. With a loud crash, his left arm went numb, and he was forced back several steps before he could steady himself.

Looking up, William saw a massive figure slowly emerging from where the rock had been thrown. Standing about ten feet tall, it exuded a strong sense of menace, with a bear-like face covered in thick scars.

What was most surprising was that on the back of this giant shadow sat a small figure, holding a rock similar in size to the one that had just attacked William in an arm longer than its own body!

"Twin Power Demon!" William's eyes widened as he recognized the creature.

This was a powerful monster that many in the post-apocalyptic world didn't know how to classify. It wasn't quite a zombie or a mutant animal because it was a twin life form.

The lower part was a mutated black bear, called Big Demon, with a small humanoid zombie attached to its neck and back, as if its legs were inserted into the bear's body. This creature was known as Little Demon.

No one knew how such a bizarre entity came to be, but it didn't stop people from understanding the terror of the Twin Power Demon.

This monster had immense strength and was skilled in throwing objects such as rocks, cars, giant logs. And nothing was beyond its capability. It often caused significant damage to enemies from a distance.

Moreover, it wasn't afraid of close combat. The bear form of Big Demon had powerful melee combat abilities, with claws that could even tear through steel!

Although this Twin Power Demon was only at level two, its unique nature made its strength very close to that of a level-three mutant life form. It also had innate skills that could be activated at any time, making it highly unpredictable.

Behind the Twin Power Demon was a dark mass of shadows. William glanced at it and felt a chill in his heart. At least a dozen level-two creatures had appeared there, clearly an ambush set by the Mind Parasite.

Indeed, it was a creature with intelligence, knowing how to set traps.

However, William's expression didn't change at all. He held his numb arm and charged again at the Hundred-Handed Zombie, which was about to get up.

The Little Demon of the Twin Power Demon threw another rock. It would never allow its companion to be harmed.

Compared to the previous rock attack, this time the Twin Power Demon was closer to William, and the rock arrived even faster. But William was prepared.

Seeing the rock leave the Little Demon's hand, he threw his Arm shield. The rock and Arm shield collided in mid-air, sending the Arm shield flying and deflecting the rock from its original trajectory, preventing it from threatening William.

After throwing the Arm shield, William's gaze locked onto the Hundred-Handed Zombie. Seeing it was about to stand up, he leaped, gripping his blade with both hands and slashing down.

If he let this creature stand up, he would lose the best chance to kill it. If he couldn't kill the Hundred-Handed Zombie, he would be in real danger once those level-two creatures surrounded him.

The Hundred-Handed Zombie clearly understood its situation. Without turning its head, it used all its remaining tentacles to shield its back. As long as it blocked this attack, it could stand back up.

With help on the way, William would no longer pose a threat to it. The lost tentacles could regrow after consuming this two-star Evolving person!

In mid-air, a sharp smile appeared on William's lips. He moved his hand holding the blade, and suddenly a small metal block appeared on the Hundred-Handed Zombie's body.

The moment it appeared, it transformed into a three-feet-tall Metal Man. As soon as the Metal Man appeared, it stomped heavily on the Hundred-Handed Zombie's tentacles.

The Hundred-Handed Zombie was slammed into the ground, its tentacles pinned down by the Metal Man, as if a mountain was pressing on its back.

William's Edge of the Moon, with a terrifying Knife light, sliced into the immobilized Hundred-Handed Zombie's neck, decapitating it and marking his successful kill of this level-three mutant life form.

The key to all this lay in that piece of metal that was thrown.

It was osmium.
