Chapter 332 Fight the Dragon

The mutated creatures within a few miles either hid in dark corners or bolted like crazy.

The sheer power of a Level 6 dragon was so intense that any mutated life form sensing its rage would shiver to their core.

The only one who didn't show any fear was probably William, fighting alone.

After transforming, he stood right in front of Yangos, almost face-to-face.

The Bottle Protection flickered and lasted just two seconds before its energy ran out. The crystal in the Staff of Nature shattered instantly, leaving William exposed.

As the Bottle Protection vanished, William pulled the trigger of the Crystal Energy Magic Gun.

Marksmanship, Shooting with Spatial Folding!

With this shot, William used his Deadly Gunner skill.

He used a Level 4 Magic Crystal!

This purple-level weapon, which almost devoured Magic Crystals, was William's last hope besides his final trump card.

A purple-level weapon, not to mention Level 6 creatures, could even hurt Level 8 creatures.

Unfortunately, William missed one thing—even using a Level 4 Magic Crystal as energy wasn't enough to keep this gun firing indefinitely.

Without continuous attacks, the threat would only be minimal and not deadly!

After one shot, the energy of the five Level 4 Magic Crystals was halved.

In other words, this purple-level weapon needed half the energy of five Level 4 Magic Crystals to fire once. When he used Level 3 Magic Crystals before, he couldn't fully unleash its power.

This shot did work. Yangos, who was super close to William, got hit in the body.

This was the highest angle William could raise his gun; Yangos was just too massive!

A transparent, water-like shield blocked the dark energy bullet when it hit Yangos' body. Although it shattered instantly and the area was blown to pieces, it didn't have the effect William hoped for.

Yangos was hurt but not fatally! It wasn't even seriously injured.

William couldn't help but remember a legend about dragons from his past life.

Their scales naturally had strong defensive capabilities. The water-like shield just now should be a manifestation of this ability.

The second shot followed.

Nothing could stop William from attacking; this was a lesson learnt with blood in his past life. His target remained the wounded spot on Yangos.

It was said that the dragon's heart was close to that spot.

Yangos, who trembled from the first shot, spat out a Dragon Breath.

Due to the rush, this Dragon Breath wasn't well-prepared. The flames were small and the area was limited, but it was enough to block the dark bullet shot from the Crystal Energy Magic Gun. Encountering such high-temperature flames, the dark energy struggled for a moment before burning to ashes.

Yangos let out a thunderous roar.

It was actually injured by William!

This was something intolerable for a dragon. It was a Level 6 dragon, and the human in front of it was merely a four-star Evolving person!

Yangos flapped its wings, and a massive gust of wind blew towards William. At the same time, it extended its claws, and a thick pillar of fire shot towards him.

A Hell Demon Bull was summoned due to the Hell Connection skill from the Hell Messenger bloodline.

This 10-foot-tall bull, with blue flames burning in its eyes, got squashed under Yangos' massive limb the moment it appeared, killed without even a whimper.

These Infernal creatures, despite their strength and bloodline, were still way too weak against a Level 6 beast.

William stashed away the purple-level Crystal Energy Magic Gun that had run out of juice. Using the gust of wind, he flew backward, trying to dodge the Dragon Claw's fire pillar. But the fire pillar was too fast. William's eyes flashed, and he grabbed a sniper rifle, firing at Yangos' eyes. Using the recoil, he barely dodged the fire pillar.

Feeling the scorching heat from the fire pillar that just missed him, William knew his slim chance to kill this dragon had slipped away.

His powerful skills and formidable weapons were no longer enough to pose a fatal threat to Yangos. If he couldn't find another way to deal with this dragon today, he was toast.

The sniper bullet was blocked by Yangos' wings, and that water-like defense popped up again. His level of attack couldn't break through the dragon's defense.

"What other tricks you got?" Yangos mocked, communicating with William through mental power. This cat-and-mouse game was something dragons enjoyed too.

William exited his bloodline transformation state, looked at Yangos, and reached into his pocket. Some info popped into his mind. After a moment of daze, William suddenly laughed.

Yangos touched the blood flowing from its wound with the tip of its wing, igniting it with flames. A Flame Giant emerged from it, targeting William.

"Trying to buy time again?" Yangos' roar echoed in William's mind, reminding him that it wouldn't give him such a chance again.

William shook his head, "I have one last way to deal with you. I always thought it was a mutually destructive method, but now it seems I might have a slim chance of survival. As for you, whether you live or die depends on your luck."

Yangos was puzzled by William's seriousness. It could tell the human wasn't bluffing, but it couldn't figure out what trick he had left after using the purple-level weapon, which only caused minor injuries.

The dragon's suspicious nature made Yangos summon another flaming Magma Giant from the void, forming a siege with the Flame Giant against William.

At this point, William truly had no chance to escape.

Yangos' half-suspended heart finally settled.

"What is your world like?" William suddenly asked, causing the dragon to have a bad feeling.

William continued, "I'm curious, where do you and those monsters come from? Is The Land of Death just a monster paradise, or is it a space we humans don't get?"

"Cut the crap and die already!" Yangos decided to kill this guy to put its mind at ease. It gave the order, and the two giants charged at William simultaneously. Yangos itself also uttered a string of complex and obscure spells, covering the surrounding thousands of feet in mid-air. Massive flames rained down like a storm. Unless William knew how to teleport, he couldn't escape before the flames descended.

This was a very famous dragon skill, Fire Rain.

William gritted his teeth, facing the sea of fire from all directions, and resolutely took out something, aiming it at Yangos. Blinding light exploded instantly, with some brilliant colors emerging from it.

"Yangos, I'll take your life," William said.
