Chapter 348 Bonecrusher Female Warrior

William let out a quiet sigh, realizing he had missed his best shot to weaken the Honor Legion by continuing to kill low-star Evolving persons.

He jumped forward, spun around, and met the incoming weapon with a fierce slash. The clash of their weapons rang out loud and clear.

William took a step back, more than Wendy did.

Surprise flickered across his face.

He'd gotten this far by chugging improved Evolution Elixir, making him almost as strong as a five-star Evolving person.

Usually, he didn't find many who could match his strength.

But here was this slender woman, swinging a massive warhammer, matching him blow for blow, maybe even outdoing him.

His eyes zeroed in on her weapon, figuring it had to be the reason.

Wendy's eyes were bloodshot, and an intense aura started to radiate from her. In seconds, her slim frame grew into a 10-foot-tall, muscle-bound giantess.

"Bonecrusher Female Warrior!" William recognized her profession, feeling a jolt of shock.

In his past life, he'd seen a few insanely powerful professions, like his own Honorable Artisan, Radiant Seal Blade Master, Lucy's Lightbringer, Connor's Tower Maker, and Arthur's Ghost Painter.

These professions got stronger over time, way beyond the usual ones.

Now, he knew a new kind of professions: Bonecrusher Female Warrior.

This profession was like the Apostle of Light. It started as Bonecrusher Female Warrior and evolved into Bonecrusher Female Officer, Commander, General, Queen, and ultimately Bonecrusher Goddess.

At the top level, its power was off the charts.

This was one of the top post-apocalyptic female professions, ranking high among all.

William hadn't expected the Honor Seventh Legion in his past life, now the Honor Ninth Legion, to have two top-tier professionals he had to take seriously.

Seeing the Bonecrusher Female Warrior, William didn't even bother fighting her. He turned and charged back into the regular soldiers of the Honor Legion.

"You coward!" Wendy, now a giantess, roared, her voice rough like a man's. She charged forward, her heavy steps shaking the ground. She looked clumsy, but her speed was surprising.

But with his Bloodstride Boots, William was just a bit faster than Wendy. She could only watch as he tore through the Honor Legion soldiers, unable to stop him.

"Hammer Strike!" Wendy finally used her profession skill, hurling the Skyquake Hammer straight at William.

William turned and unleashed the SealMountain Knife.

The Hammer Strike wasn't just a simple throw; it was a powerful profession skill of the Bonecrusher Female Warrior. It packed a punch and created an aura that messed with the target's movements.

So William didn't dodge. He turned and used his class skill to counter it.

The Skyquake Hammer slowed down but still smashed into the Knife Light of the Edge of the Moon with immense force.

Wendy grunted. Even from a distance, she was still connected to her weapon, and the recoil hit her hard.

William felt the pain too, but he used it to his advantage, pushing himself backward again. The Edge of the Moon turned into a flurry of Knife Light, cutting down more Honor Legion soldiers.

"Bastard!" Connor stormed onto the battlefield. He was a four-star Evolving person, the fastest, but still a bit behind William. Like Wendy, he chased after William, furious as he watched his men get slaughtered.

"Get out of the way, everyone move!" Connor yelled.

The Honor Legion's bravery was now working against them. They were fearless, blocking William to give Connor a chance at taking him down, but it was in vain—they were just getting slaughtered.

Connor saw this and kept shouting for them to fall back.

The soldiers finally stopped blocking William and gathered around Connor, making it harder for William to pick them off.

Once they regrouped, William had to face a barrage of attacks just to take down one more soldier. He had to switch tactics and started speeding up his escape.

He couldn't stay put for long, or Connor would catch up. That guy's attack power was no joke, and William wasn't sure he could handle it.

"Chase him, surround him, kill him!" Connor roared.

The Honor Legion finally had the upper hand. In his rage, Connor realized this was the first time they'd gotten the better of William.

Thinking this, Connor's killing intent grew stronger. He knew they were mortal enemies now, and today might be his best shot at taking William down. If he missed it, he'd be facing an even stronger enemy in the future.

William ran, checking the time and calculating silently while scanning his surroundings.

Suddenly, it felt like he was moving through water, the resistance making every step harder. He knew other professionals from the Honor Legion were making their move.

William stopped abruptly, then sprinted in the opposite direction, catching the professional off guard, thus breaking free from his skill control.

"SealFlame Blade! Sniping! Shooting with Spatial Folding!" He launched the attack instantly, targeting the pursuers behind him.

"Dodge!" Connor, quick on the uptake, warned as soon as William moved. He activated his profession skill, building a tower in front of the team.

Two loud explosions followed, and the newly formed tower crumbled. Some people's defensive gears shattered, too.

"Bradley, watch out!" Connor, having blocked the attack, sighed in relief but quickly tensed up again, shouting for Bradley to be careful.

Connor saw the Knife Light with flames heading his way, but the giant sniper rifle's shot was slightly off, aimed at Bradley!

Bradley reacted fast, sensing danger. A defensive veil popped up in front of him as he dodged to the side.

But William had shortened the distance on purpose. The Shooting with Spatial Folding bypassed the gear, and the high-speed bullet appeared right in front of Bradley's forehead.

Blood splattered as Bradley's head was blown apart like an overripe melon.
