William's vibe had totally shifted.
His once gentle features now looked cold and distant, like he’d morphed from a regular guy into some kind of untouchable god in an instant.

From a distance, William looked like a game character with epic special effects, all dazzling and radiant.

Maybe everyone else and the zombies were stunned by William's sudden transformation, but he wasn’t. He stayed in attack mode.
"Seal, Mountain Knife!" William shouted.
A massive force slammed down on the Blade Armor Monster's head, snapping the Level 4 Zombie King out of its shock. It roared continuously, its four blade-like arms slashing rapidly. Each slash tore through the air, making it look all wavy and distorted, like heat shimmer.
At the same time, the thick shell on the Blade Armor Monster's back started moving forward like an automatic sunroof, gradually covering its head.
The Blade Armor Monster had activated its innate skill—Tearing Guardian!
The Blade Armor Monster was a type of zombie with exceptionally high defense. Under its innate abilities, its defensive prowess surpassed even that of the Bull Demon.
That’s why the Red-haired Iron Corpse and the witch had picked the Blood-Drinker Zombie and the Stitching Monster as their targets. Those two Zombie Kings had high attack power but weaker defense. Naturally, the Red-haired Iron Corpse and the witch went for the easier kills.
As for the tougher ones, William would handle the other two kings.
The knife light that tore through space made any attack entering its range vanish into thin air, unable to touch the Blade Armor Monster. And the Tearing Guardian could protect its vital head really well.
In the past, many survivors hated running into the Blade Armor Monster because of its skills. It could block all your attacks, while its sharp bone blades were a deadly threat.
William's Mountain Knife slowed the already sluggish Blade Armor Monster to a near standstill. But this played right into the Level 4 Zombie King's hands. It didn’t believe William could break through its double-layered defense.
The Blade Armor Monster heard William chuckle softly. The sound sent chills down its spine. It grunted and tried to back off, sensing a deadly threat.
But before it could move, it saw a purple gun suddenly appear in William's hand, with a bright light shining from the barrel, indicating he had already pulled the trigger.
The Blade Armor Monster sighed in relief because, from this angle, the bullet would hit its Tearing Guardian, and the attack would be absorbed. No matter how strong the attack was, it would be neutralized by the Tearing Guardian's skill. That was the power of its innate skill.
But in the next second, it sensed something was off. The gun barrel clearly had a bright light, indicating the gun had fired, but it hadn’t seen the bullet.
Amidst its bewilderment, the Blade Armor Monster felt its body lighten and its vision rapidly descend. After pondering for a moment, it looked down and saw its legs—only to realize its body was no longer attached.
This purple-level weapon, which practically devoured Magic Crystals, combined with the Deadly Gunner's skills, allowed William take down a Level 4 mutated lifeform with just one shot!
Thanks to his Marksmanship, the bullet dodged the Tearing Guardian and nailed the Blade Armor Monster right in the chest.
If the shot had hit the Tearing Guardian, it might've been strong enough to break through, but who knows if it would've done fatal damage to its head.
But when William hitits unprotected chest,the bullets, now charged with dark energy from William's bloodline power, weren't just little sparks anymore; they turned into black flames. Almost instantly, the bullet burned a huge hole at the impact point and spread out, quickly torching the Blade Armor Monster's torso.
Without its torso, the Blade Armor Monster's head naturally fell off.
William holstered his gun and walked over to the Blade Armor Monster's head, which was still opening and closing its mouth in disbelief. He lifted his foot and crushed it.
The green Level 4 Magic Crystal shone brightly amidst the flesh.
So, three Zombie Kings were dead, and it took less than twenty seconds.
The entire zombie horde went nuts.
The zombies near the battlefield were mostly high-level, second or third-tier zombies. They had some basic smarts and started to run after seeing this,.
They had no choice. Three of the four Zombie Kings were dead; two of their own had switched sides; a Level 5 Battle Pet was hovering in the air. If they didn't run now, were they just gonna wait to die?
The Bull Demon was also trying to escape. It had thought about fighting back, but when William killed the Blade Armor Monster, it knew it was over. All it could do now was run.
Right now, William was still within the ten-minute window of his bloodline activation. His physical stats were already at the level of a five-star evolver, and with the speed boost from the Bloodstride Boots, he caught up with the Bull Demon, which was stuck in the zombie horde, in just two minutes.
He didn't use the Crystal Energy Magic Gun, just the Edge of the Moon. This Level 4 Zombie King was in deep trouble as William attacked. It kept summoning nearby zombies for help. William's bloodline ability, 'Hell Connection,' was also in play. He first summoned a three-headed hound of hell, its body covered in scorching flames. It spewed a column of fire from its mouth, turning second-level zombies to ash and seriously injuring third-level zombies.
Moments later, a Magma Beast emerged through the flickering black door behind William. Each punch from it sent a third-level zombie flying, and any zombie that attacked it got burned by the magma on its body.
Plus, William kept using Coagulation and Arousal spells to summon Earth Giants and Iron Giants to block the Bull Demon's path. After another swing of the Mountain Knife, and with the witch and Red-haired Iron Corpse blocking the last escape route, the Bull Demon, having exhausted its innate skills, was unwillingly beheaded by William.
Seeing the Level 4 Zombie Kings, who had been roaring at it moments ago, all dead, the witch remembered something William had said to it yesterday, "From now on, you will be the Zombie King of Accraville City, the only king."
