Chapter 123 Had to Bail on Ivy
The situation was serious? Alexander's heart sank.
He had been raised by his grandma since he was young, and she was the person he cared about the most. If she was really in critical condition, he couldn't afford to delay even for a second.

Ivy glanced at the time and smiled, saying, "He'll be here in five minutes!"
"No rush, it's just five minutes. We'll wait for him," Michael said.
"Yes, let's eat together when he arrives," Samantha said kindly.
"We'll wait for Daddy to eat," the six little girls expressed in unison.
Meanwhile, Alexander and Leo arrived at the Ashford family mansion one after the other.
Leo intentionally slowed down, letting Alexander enter first.
"Grandma!" Alexander shouted and rushed inside.
"Hey!" Mrs. Ashford responded happily, then smiled at Hailey and said, "See? I told you Alexander wouldn't stay angry for long. Look, he's here to see me early in the morning."
Annabel had deceived him! Alexander's face immediately darkened, and he stormed towards the door without looking back.
"Alexander! What do you mean?" Mrs. Ashford chased after him and shouted, "Are you happy if I'm really dead? If that's the case, I'll die right now just to show you!"
Alexander had just opened the car door when he heard her words and closed the door in frustration.
"What do you want?" Alexander yelled angrily.
"You dare to get angry with me?" Mrs. Ashford changed her demeanor, intentionally wiping away tears and said, with extreme grievance, "I raised you with great hardship, and this is how you treat me? If I knew you were like this, I would have followed your parents twenty years ago. Why bother to live until now? Who was it for? Sob..."

"I don't want your apologies. I just want you to stay and have breakfast!" Mrs. Ashford said angrily.
