Chapter 244 You Have No Right to Speak
Although he was obviously in a hurry, Alexander still told the pilot to turn around.
When the helicopter returned to the top of the mountain, everyone saw that James was really sitting on the ground crying.
"Come up." Alexander opened the cabin door.
"Okay!" James obediently responded.
He wanted to stand up, but the kneecap of one of his legs was broken, so he could not.
However, this time, despite the intense pain, he did not groan.
He failed to stand up several times. It was quite a pitiful look.
"Aw, come on!" Alexander got off the plane and used Tiger's Magic Pearl's energy to heal James' legs again.
There were no more seats on the plane, and no one wanted to get close to James. Hence, James could only sit pitifully on the carpet.
No one spoke the whole time.
The Lewis Villa was on the side of another mountain, and the helicopter landed directly on the top of the mountain.
The group of people walked all the way down from the top of the mountain.
James finally could not take it anymore, he grabbed Alexander and asked, "Where are we? Why bring us to this place? I want to go home!"
Alexander pulled away from James and said, "You can go home anytime you want!"
"But this is the middle of nowhere, I can't get a cab even if I wanted to. You still have to take me back with your helicopter!" James said aggrievedly.
Alexander frowned. "You mean, I have to give up my most important matter right now, serve you unconditionally, and send you to your home?"
Out of embarrassment, James blushed and did not speak again.
Tom said, "They are so busy, and it's already not easy for them to pick us up from the disaster area. They will surely send us back when they are done with their work."
Lex added. "You think you're the only one who wants to go home? Who doesn't? Who do you think you are to make them send you home with their helicopter?"
James said, "Come one, Lex, don't say that, I'm your boss after all..."
"Shut up!" Calvin interrupted James and said, "If you don't pay wages, you are not our boss, and you have no right to speak here."
"How can you say that? He paid your salary..." James said as he pointed at Alexander.
"Shut up!" Mark glared fiercely at James. "You have no right to speak!"
James said, "You people..."
"Shut up!" the five employees shouted simultaneously.
Then, one by one, they walked away from James and followed Alexander.
Annabel was familiar with the road and soon brought everyone to the Lewis Villa.
More than 20 families lived on the side of the mountain, and the area of all the other villas added combined was not as big as the Lewis Villa.
However, the villa was empty now, only some quaint carved furniture were left inside.
Except for the woodshed, all other rooms were locked.
Alexander really wanted to go in and have a look, so he asked Annabel, "Grandma, do you have the keys to the Villa?"
After asking that, Alexander immediately regretted it. After Annabel got married, she lost contact with the Lewis family. She had not been home for more than 20 years after she fell off the cliff. And after she fell off the cliff and hurt her head, she lost her memories and lived another 20 years under the cliff.
More than 40 years had passed, how could she have the keys?
"I never use a key to enter the house, but there are spares at home."
Annabel looked up at the roof, and then jumped up lightly.
Before everyone could see clearly how Annabel climbed over the roof, she had already lifted a few tiles from the roof and jumped into the house.
In an old cabinet, Annabel found a whole bunch of keys of the Lewis Villa.
Under the amazed eyes of everyone, Annabel jumped onto the roof again. After putting the tiles back, she was about to jump off.
That was when she saw three very special people from the roof.
