Chapter 195 Seven Crocodile Magic Pearls
"She won't die!" Blake carried Ivy to the most spacious suite in the hotel and placed her directly into the bathtub. He pointed at Maria and said, "You help her with bathing and changing while the rest of us look after the kids."
Maria quickly found clean clothes for Ivy and hurried to assist her with bathing.
As the warm water washed over her body, Ivy immediately regained consciousness.
She felt nauseous and vomited all the Magic Pearls, including her own.
Eight Magic Pearls shimmered brilliantly as they were cleansed by the water. One Mussel Pearl emitted a faint green light, while the seven Crocodile Pearls sparkled like colorful bubbles, exuding a fantastical rainbow glow.
"Oh my goodness, what is happening?" Maria was at a loss when she saw Ivy regurgitate eight Magic Pearls.
"Stop talking and lock the door." Ivy weakly instructed.
"The door is already locked. I can't bathe you without locking it, can I?" Maria curiously approached. "Ivy, what are these?"
"They are treasures, darling. Treasures that can heal and save lives." Ivy began explaining as several Magic Pearls emitted a powerful healing energy, automatically curing her leg injury and all the other wounds on her body, big and small.
Witnessing this astonishing sight, Maria was left stunned.
Ivy took out one of the Crocodile Pearls and generously handed it to Maria. "Maria, this one is for you."
"Really?" Maria's eyes sparkled with delight. It was truly a rare and precious item!
However, after picking it up and examining it, she put it back. "Since it's a treasure, you should keep it for the father of your children. There are eight pearls in total, just enough for each member of your family."
"Him? He nearly choked me to death today!" Ivy couldn't swallow that fact, considering the events of the day.
All the kids were Alexander's own. Even if all the children were not biologically Alexander's, he had no right to try to kill her.
That heartless man, Alexander, would never get his hands on her Magic Pearl!
Ivy carefully rinsed the Magic Pearls in the water until there was no trace of any fishy smell. Then she handed one to Maria, saying, "Maria, open your mouth!"
"How can I..."
Maria started to protest, but Ivy immediately stuffed the Magic Pearl into her mouth.
"Maria, you know, with this Magic Pearl, you can become immortal, forever youthful. You can also use the power of the Magic Pearl, like me, to heal and save lives through your thoughts. Hannah took my child to obtain this kind of Magic Pearl. It's precious, so you must protect it."
"I see." Touched, Maria embraced Ivy. "Ivy, you're so good to me. I am truly fortunate to have you as my sister."
"I'm good to you because you're good to me." Ivy sweetly smiled. "And now, I can stay here peacefully."
Maria chuckled and shook her head. "Are you silly? Even if you didn't give me the Magic Pearl, you would still be able to live peacefully. Didn't our mother say so? Clark Villa is your home. You can stay here forever. This is your family."
"Family..." Ivy thought of Samantha, who had been kind to her as well, and suddenly felt that she should give Samantha a Magic Pearl too.
But she only had seven Magic Pearls, with no extras. She said, "Maria, I don't have any spare Magic Pearls to give to Samantha, and neither does Richard. However, I have a shell. If Samantha consumes it, she can also achieve immortality."
"Really?" Maria was overjoyed. "That means Samantha can also become immortal."
"Keep your voice down." Ivy pouted. "You have no idea how many people are trying to get their hands on my shell."
"Alright, I'll be careful from now on." Maria quickly covered her mouth.
Thinking about how she had become the chief physician of Missouri, Ivy continued. "Maria, I am now the chief physician of Missouri. I'll be on duty once a week, and from now on, when I treat people, you'll be with me. That way, even if you can heal and save people independently, no one will suspect anything. We'll say you're learning breathing techniques from me."
"Got it. From now on, I'll be your apprentice." Maria hugged Ivy once again. "Ivy, you're so kind and thoughtful."
"You should leave now. I'll take a good shower. I stink. And later, bring the six kids here, so I can bathe them and distribute the Magic Pearls to them. Don't tell anyone about this." Ivy instructed.
"Don't worry. I'm not dumb." Maria happily left.
After thoroughly washing the remaining seven Magic Pearls and rinsing her mouth, Ivy swallowed them one by one, intending to regurgitate them when the children arrived. She believed it would be safer to keep them inside her belly than anywhere else.
In the hotel lobby, Blake and the other eight men kept a close watch on the six children.
Alexander didn't want Blake and the others to stay any longer and spoke sternly. "You can leave now. I'll watch over the children. Nothing will go wrong."
"Sorry, but we're not your subordinates," Blake calmly replied, sitting firmly on the couch, completely ignoring Alexander's words.
The other eight brothers each sat in their own unique way, tapping their legs or smoking, behaving as if they were not outsiders.
