The blue-spotted snake decisively turned its head and swam towards the hot spring.
A few days later, evening approached.
Thomas brought Owen to the hot spring for a bath.
The blue-spotted snake remained submerged in the water.
It had long been familiar with Owen. Many years ago, this fellow was just a tiny child taken in by a group of monkeys. After growing up, he left the monkey tribe and lived alone in a cave, embarking on the path of cultivation. Occasionally, he would catch snakes and drink their blood. It had been caught by him once before, but after drinking its blood, he released it without killing it.
The blue-spotted snake held no affection for Owen, considering that he had bitten it and drank its blood.

It became captivated by Owen's beauty and couldn't help but follow him when he led Thomas to the cave to view the scriptures. But Thomas happened to notice it and shouted loudly, "Snake! Snake!"

Owen promptly pulled the snake off, without harming it, and released it.
Upon witnessing this scene, the blue patterned snake instantaneously developed a deep fondness for Owen.
Later on, it was discovered that Owen had a younger brother and sister-in-law, and the sister-in-law, Ivy, was breathtakingly beautiful. Owen was very fond of her, which immediately sparked jealousy in the blue patterned snake.
Just as Alexander and Owen were tending to Thomas's wound, the blue patterned snake transformed into a beam of white light, enticing Ivy towards the entrance of the cave.
It initially intended to put on a little display for Ivy, but to its surprise, Ivy was not an ordinary person after all. She possessed a Magic Pearl within her body!
