Chapter 325: Men need to be tamed, no taming means no good.
At four in the morning: Ivy, I just had a nightmare, and in the dream, you...married a man with dark skin from Africa and had six black sons. My goodness, it scared me to death.
At five in the morning: Ivy, when are you getting up? I hardly slept all night, and I want to chat with you.
At six in the morning: Ivy, when does the makeup store open? I want to go and do a blackface makeup now, just like you said. From now on, I'll listen to everything you say, okay?
At 6:01 am: Ivy, why haven't you turned on your phone yet?
At 6:05 am: What time do you usually wake up every day?
At 6:15 am: Ivy, I can't sleep anymore. I'm getting up now and going to find a makeup store.
After 6:15 am, there were no more messages.
After reading all the messages three times, Ivy was certain that she had conquered this man. She happily got up and got ready, humming a song while brushing her teeth.
After washing her face and completing her skincare routine, she styled her hair beautifully. When she came out of the bathroom, she ran into Samantha.
"Ivy, why are you up so early today? I haven't made breakfast yet."
"No worries, I'll do it!" Ivy rolled up her sleeves and headed to the kitchen.
In just an hour, two tables were filled with a variety of dishes, just like a breakfast shop. There were both dry and soupy dishes, offering a wide selection of small dishes.
"Breakfast is ready!"
With Ivy's loud shout, Blake and his eight brothers immediately took their seats. They had already gotten up and finished getting ready.
Michael and Ben shared a room and stayed up late playing games last night, so they haven't woken up yet. Upon hearing the breakfast call, the two hurriedly got out of bed, quickly washed their faces, and rushed to the kitchen.
They all knew that with a free breakfast, everyone would eat to their heart's content. Should they not go on time, there wouldn't be anything left later.
Maria and Samantha were busy serving the food and taking care of the children. Under Samantha's guidance, the sextuplets, rubbing their eyes, came over one by one.
"Mummy, why are we having breakfast so early? I'm so sleepy!" Sixie complained, tapping her foot as she spoke.
"Do we have steak to eat?" Forthie asked. She didn't care whether it was early or late, as long as there was meat.
Eldie said, "It's meat, not steak. Mummy has told you so many times, why haven't you corrected it yet?"
Forthie defiantly said, "I know it's meat, but I just like saying steak. What can you do about it?"
Eldie rolled her eyes, "You're my little sister, what can I do to you? But school starts in a few days, and if you don't correct it, people will make fun of you."
"That's right! Forthie's pronunciation is not correct at all!" Thirdie chimed in, then yelled, pointing at the sweet potato porridge, "Sweet potato! Sweet potato! I want more sweet potatoes! Mummy, give me more sweet potatoes!" Her pronunciation was also incorrect.
Everyone: "..."
Ivy shook her head helplessly, both laughing and crying, as she served Thirdie more sweet potatoes.
She cooked a bowl of sweet potato porridge and patiently taught, "Sweet potato, sweet potato."
Thirdie followed along in a practiced manner, saying, "Hong Chu."
"It's sweet potato, sweet potato, sweet potato porridge!" Ivy reiterated seriously.
"Fousan, Hong Chu, Hong Chu, Chu Chu Silk Rice," Thirdie tried very hard to learn.
Eldie sighed with disappointment, "Forthie, there's no hope for you! You can't distinguish anything."
Thirdie retorted defiantly, "Who told you that? I can distinguish! I just don't want to say it."
Forthie instantly found a kindred spirit, immediately picked up her own bowl and sat next to Thirdie, saying, "Let's eat together! I'll give you the sweet potato that you like, and you give me the chicken wings that I like."
Thirdie rolled her eyes at Forthie and held the chicken wings in front of her tightly, saying, "I like sweet potatoes and chicken wings too!"
