Chapter 79-81 (Revised) Captivated by the Man on Board?

Alexander lifted Ivy's feet and carefully examined them, only to find that there were no injuries. This behavior was incredible to everyone.

Ivy guessed that Alexander was checking her feet for injuries and said, "I'm not hurt."

"Why didn't you come back earlier then? Huh?" Alexander narrowed his dangerous black eyes. "Captivated by the man on board?"

"What nonsense are you talking about? Don't say such things in front of the children!" Ivy didn't want to deal with Alexander anymore and came over to the six little ones with a smile on her face.

"Mommy, are you hungry?" The eldest daughter asked thoughtfully.

"I'm not hungry." Speaking of which, Ivy suddenly remembered that she had brought mussel meat for the children.

"You six come here. Mommy has brought the best steak in the world for you."

As she spoke, she turned to Maria and said, "Maria, bring my things over here."

Maria's expression immediately froze. Where could she get it from? Everything had been thrown away by Alexander.

"Maria, bring my things over here," Ivy raised her voice.

Maria lowered her head apologetically. "Sorry Ivy..."

"Maria, you..." Ivy had a bad feeling about this and quickly got up to look for her mussel meat and shell fragments all around the living room.

After searching frantically without finding anything, she coldly questioned Alexander: "Where are my things? Did you throw them away?"

Alexander replied calmly: "I don't know what thing you're talking about. I just disposed of some garbage."

"Alexander! You have no humanity!" Ivy pointed at him angrily. "That was century-old mussel meat I brought for our children - no - millennium-old mussel meat! It's better than dragon meat!"

Alexander sneered: "Century-old or millennium-old? You're underestimating it. It could be billions of years old!"

"I don't have time to argue with you. Tell me, where did you throw it?" Ivy flipped through all the trash cans in the villa.

Alexander saw this and was about to go crazy with anger.

"Ivy, can't you stop being so useless? Can't the Ashford family afford meat? Do I need to tell you to dig through garbage?"

"I told you that's not ordinary meat!" Ivy searched through all the trash cans in the villa but didn't find any mussel meat. She then went outside and searched through the trash cans there.

Maria hurriedly followed her out and said sadly: "Ivy, stop looking for it. Mr. Ashford had someone throw those things into a dumpster ten miles away."

"Damn it!" Ivy cursed angrily and turned back to her children saying, "Wait here mommy will go look for steak."

The children looked at each other, wondering what was wrong with mommy and why she wanted to search for steak in a dumpster.

"Ivy, don't go!" Ethan shouted as he watched Ivy leave.

He then turned to Alexander and said: "Mr. Ashford, can't you just tell her the truth? If she really goes digging around a dumpster ten miles away she'll be laughed at by others or even filmed by reporters."

Upon hearing this, Ivy knew that the mussel meat wasn’t thrown into a dumpster ten miles away after all.

She stopped moving abruptly and asked Alexander coldly: "Where is it exactly?"

Alexander was infuriated by Ivy's behavior, he walked toward his family doctor’s office with an icy expression on his face.

In fact, he didn’t throw away Ivy's mussel meat, instead he gave them to their family doctor because he was worried that there might be something harmful inside which would endanger their children if they ate it.

After all, these things were given to Ivy by Blake and he didn't know what kind of person Blake was. He had them tested just to be safe.

The family doctor had just cut a small piece of mussel meat and put it in the instrument for testing. Seeing Alexander's cold expression, he trembled as he spoke: "Mr. Ashford, the test results haven't come out yet... we have to wait...wait a little longer..."
