Chapter 784 Royal Edict from God

Faced with all the bookshelves, Amelia reached out her palm and randomly picked up a history book. Flipping through its pages, she happily ran to the living room.

"Look, doesn't it resemble the Royal Edict of the ancient kings?"

"Royal Edict? It really does!" all seventeen siblings exclaimed simultaneously.

Jovan and Maelle exchanged glances and had the same thought - this illuminated scroll was the Royal Edict.

Jovan thought carefully and hurriedly said, "This must be a Royal Edict from God. Quickly, call Ivy, being late would be disrespectful to God!"

Maelle immediately went to knock on Ivy's bedroom door, and the eighteen children followed closely, afraid that their mommy might offend God.

"Ivy, wake up! God's Royal Edict has arrived!"

"Mommy, get up! It's disrespectful if you're late!" Ivy and Alexander in the bedroom groggily got up.

Hearing the children's shouts, Alexander quickly got out of bed and opened the door. "What are you little ones doing up so early? Can't you sleep a bit longer? It's only preschool, is it necessary to be so eager?"

Other children stretched out their little hands and pointed at the Royal Edict in the air. "Daddy... this is mommy's Royal Edict. Quickly, wake mommy up to receive the edict!"

Alexander was stunned when he saw the scroll in the air. In the early morning, he had a dream where he was God, feeling relieved because of Ivy's rebirth.

He picked up a pen and paper and wrote a Royal Edict. It proclaimed Ivy as a witch, in charge of all the rivers, lakes, and seas. When he woke up, Alexander was still in a daze. He thought, why did I have such a dream? I dreamt that I was God. If the real God finds out, wouldn't He punish me severely?

I presume that this dream is related to a recent experience. It was when my fifth daughter pretended to be poisoned after eating river clam meat, scaring everyone. I harshly reprimanded my fifth daughter, Ivy, who adores her children very much. I made Ivy reflect on her actions alongside my fifth daughter behind closed doors.

On the surveillance, I saw Ivy exhale a Magic Pearl and she even confessed to being a witch to my fifth daughter herself.

For a long time, Alexander believed without question that Ivy was a witch, only later realizing that Ivy had coincidentally obtained a Magic Pearl from a river clam.

Alexander was firm in his belief that the dream he had that night was related to this memory.

But the problem was the appearance of a scroll resembling a Royal Edict in the sky. What on earth was happening?

"Alexander..." Ivy sat up, rubbing her eyes and said, "I had a dream tonight. I dreamt that I was appointed as a god, just like I jokingly called myself a witch before."

"It's true!" the other children shouted, pointing to the scroll in the living room. "Mommy, your dream is real. The Royal Edict is right here in the living room. Hurry and accept your decree!"

Ivy's body drifted and she floated directly to the living room.

The children watched this scene with envy.

"Look, Mommy can fly!"

"Mommy's a divine immortal now, so amazing!"

"I wish we could be as powerful as Mommy."

"If we practice diligently, we can be as formidable as Mommy!"

One by one, the children came to the living room, their eyes glued to the scroll in the air.

Ivy didn't know if this was a genuine Royal Edict, but a glowing scroll appearing out of thin air in her home was truly unimaginable. She would rather believe it than dismiss it.

Following what she had seen on television, Ivy knelt beneath the scroll.

However, no one expected the scroll to remain motionless, floating without any signs of opening or descending.

Suddenly, Alexander had a premonition. He immediately shouted in all directions, "Everyone, wake up, go to the living room and receive the decree without delay!"
