Chapter 919 Extra Story - 108 Divine Generals

In the blink of an eye, Christmas arrived.

Every household began preparing for the holiday, and the Ashford family was no exception.

Calliope, Lyra, Jaxon, Evander, and others went to buy a Christmas tree and decorations.

Beckett and Richard went to buy food, while Owen and Alexander cleaned up the place.

Annabel and Samantha enjoyed the snow scenery. Scarlett and Marcus exchanged meaningful glances while appreciating the snow. Butler Maria, with her pregnant sisters-in-law, prepared delicious food together. With so many people, the refrigerator wouldn't be enough, but thankfully, Ivy's space ring had a freezer specifically for storing frozen food.

Bluey, Florence, and Ruby sat in the Ashford family's vault, busy distributing dividends.

The cash in the vault piled up like a mountain.

Bluey used magic to divide the cash into one thousand dollars each. Florence used magic to put the cash into envelopes and sealed them.

Ruby then put the sealed envelopes into boxes.

Even with everyone using magic, they couldn't keep up with the workload. It was just too much.

Ivy and Alexander announced that during Christmas, anyone who visited the Ashford family, regardless of age, would receive one thousand dollars. It was estimated that the Ashford family would be overcrowded for the next half month.

Everyone was busy, and Ivy was no exception. With her pregnant belly, she cleared a room in the mansion and turned it into a hair salon. Ivy hired ten world-renowned top hairstylists at high salaries for door-to-door service.

Eighty children lined up in ten long queues, patiently waiting for the stylists to work their magic. The stylists, afraid of making any mistakes, were highly paid. The first batch of ten children took a whole hour to complete their hairstyles.

Ivy became anxious and used Magic Pearl to copy all the skills of the ten hairstylists. She added another chair and hair tools and joined the hairdressing team. The children thought that Ivy, who mastered the techniques of ten top designers, would create the best hairstyles. They quickly moved to Ivy's queue. In no time, the line turned into a dragon, stretching from the hair salon all the way to the backyard of the Ashford family mansion.

The ten top hairstylists had nothing to do but watch Ivy with an expression of amusement. To their surprise, Ivy created a hairstyle in less than five minutes, and each one was flawless. As she continued, her movements became faster, and she could even work on two children's hairstyles at the same time with both hands.

When it was Yvette and Yesenia's turn, they were engrossed in playing mobile games and refused to get their hair done.

Ivy grabbed them like little rabbits and forcefully gave them haircuts.

Yesenia reluctantly asked, "Can't we do it tomorrow? Does it have to be today?"

Ivy nodded, "Yes, it has to be today."

Another hour passed, and Ivy finished styling the hair of seventy children.

Ten hairstylists were extremely embarrassed. They could only do one child's hairstyle in an hour, while a pregnant woman managed to do 70 children's hairstyles in the same time. They grabbed their toolboxes and escaped from the Ashford family.

They didn't even have the courage to ask for their wages. But Ivy was not someone who took advantage of others. She paid every penny of their salaries.

After all, she had replicated the skills of ten top hairstylists, so she considered this money as tuition fees.

Alexander and Owen finished cleaning up the villa and discovered that Ivy had become a master-level hairdresser. They both eagerly wanted Ivy to cut their hair. Soon enough, a long line formed in front of Ivy again. In the evening, families gathered to eat. Other families had a table full of people, but the Ashford family had a mansion full of people. Ten tables for adults and ten tables for children.

As the clock struck twelve, Ivy gave out red envelopes to 80 children. Blake's eight daughters-in-law were envious and wished to give birth immediately so that their children could receive red envelopes together with these 80 children.

"Pregnant women count too! The ones in their bellies also count!" Ivy distributed red envelopes to each sister-in-law. Just then, Maria suddenly went into labor. Blake immediately carried her into the room for delivery. Not long after, he excitedly rushed to the door to share the good news.

"Maria gave birth to 28 children in one go. Fourteen pairs of twins! Ivy, you have to prepare 28 red envelopes!" Samantha watched the crawling children on the floor, unable to close her mouth from joy. "Oh my, my daughter gave birth to 28 children in one go, and they can crawl right after birth. It's truly amazing..."

"Alright!" Ivy grabbed a stack of red envelopes and personally handed them to Maria's room. Just as she put down the red envelopes, she went into labor herself.

Ivy held her belly with one hand and supported her waist with the other, "Alexander, come quickly, I'm going to give birth too..."

Alexander immediately carried Ivy to his own room and personally delivered the baby. One child after another was born, and they all laughed happily right after birth. The sound of laughter echoed throughout the entire house.

Bluey rushed over excitedly and asked, "Sister, how many did you give birth to?"

Alexander carefully counted, "36!"

Bluey happily said, "It's another 36! Sister, if we combine the children from both of us, it's exactly 108, just like the number of divine generals!"

Ivy smiled gently, "They are the next generation of divine generals!"

Owen said, "Maria's 28 children are the next generation of the 28 star gods. They will work together with the 108 divine generals to eliminate demons and maintain security in the six realms."

"Our children are working so hard..." Bluey felt a little distressed.

Ivy said, "The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility. They are children of the gods, born to protect the six realms."

"Mission accomplished." Alexander and Owen said simultaneously.

The sound of the clock striking midnight.

"Look, everyone! Fireworks!" Ruby excitedly pointed outside the window.

Everyone rushed to the window, watching the fireworks burst into colors.

Amongst the dazzling fireworks, a beautiful meteor shower streaked across the sky.

Seeing the meteor shower, Amelia suddenly remembered something. "Dad, you promised us to give us the stars in the sky, but you never fulfilled that promise."

"Now it can be fulfilled." Alexander murmured a spell towards the meteor shower.

Countless small shooting stars flew towards the Ashford family mansion.

Exactly 108 of them fell magically into the hands of the 108 Ashford children.

From today onwards, they became true gods.

Their mission was to protect the six realms and defend peace.
