Chapter 66 Ivy was Kidnapped
"She called and specifically asked for me?" Alexander could hardly believe it.
But when he thought that Ivy's body had not been found yet, he felt that she might still be alive.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? What is her number? Show me quickly!" Alexander eagerly reached out his hand.
Leo quickly took out his phone and pointed to a string of numbers. "Look, this is the mobile number. However, Ivy hung up after saying just one sentence. When I tried calling back, they hung up again. I called again, it was no longer in service. They probably put me on the blocklist."
Alexander took out his own phone and dialed the number.
Blake answered the phone quickly, "Hello, who is this? Are you looking for fish?"
Fish? Fisherman?
Alexander's first reaction was that a fishermen had rescued Ivy after falling into the water. But from Leo's words, he also felt that Ivy was secretly using the fisherman's phone to make the call and now she is being held captive by them.

You're Luna's enemy. I warn you not to mess with her again. Otherwise, don't blame me for being impolite!"
The phone was hung up.
When Alexander tried calling back, he couldn't get through anymore.
"Damn it! He put me on the blocklist," Alexander said angrily.
Leo listened to the call and needed clarification "Alexander, where does Ivy work? Who is that man?"
"What kind of work? Ivy is being controlled by someone, idiot!" Alexander gritted his teeth and ordered coldly, "Ethan, prepare the car and bring the bodyguards. We're going to the riverbank!"
"You mean Ivy has been kidnapped?" Leo panicked when he heard this news. "Alexander, I'll go with you!"

By the riverbank, the rain had stopped.
After Blake answered the call from a stranger earlier, he felt uneasy and worried that Ivy's enemies might cause trouble. He wanted to tell Ivy about it and ask her who she had a grudge with, so he could judge what actions the other party might take.
He found that Ivy had locked herself inside a warehouse from inside, disappointedly shaking his head at how guarded Luna was towards him.
However, although she locked herself in there tightly, small cracks in between door panels allowed Blake to peek into what was happening inside.
He saw Ivy sleeping soundly in one corner of the warehouse, looking beautiful even while asleep, which made him cannot help to keep peeping further.

She also dreamt of attending a jewelry auction where everyone else auctioned off antique jewelry while she auctioned off pearls taken from inside a river mussel. She asked the staff to turn off all the lights to showcase the best effect.
