Chapter 77 Garbage, Throw It Away
"Here she comes!" Ivy got in the car with a total harvest.
Ethan promptly opened the door for Ivy to get in. Leo also wanted to get in this car but was stopped by Ethan. He cursed and reluctantly got into the other car behind them.
Alexander deliberately sat in the back seat, not only to accompany Ivy but also to see how her foot injury was doing.
As soon as Ivy got into the car, she spread out river snail meat, broken shell fragments, and Blake's business card on her lap. Alexander saw Blake's business card and became very angry. He picked it up and tore it into pieces before throwing it out of the window.
"Alexander!" Ivy's face turned red with anger.
"Drive!" Alexander ordered Ethan coldly.
Ivy was furious but had no way of dealing with Alexander's behavior. Fortunately, when she took Blake's business card earlier, she glanced at the number on it which wasn't difficult to remember, she had already memorized it effortlessly.
"What is this thing? It stinks! Throw it away!" Alexander covered his nose and said disgustedly.
"It’s meat that I brought for my children," Ivy held onto river snail meat tightly fearing that Alexander would take it away from her and throw it out of the window.
"Throw it away! My children don’t need to eat this stuff!" Alexander felt nauseous almost vomiting at its sight.
“Your children may not need them but mine do! This is one of the world’s most delicious meats, you can’t even taste anything like this anywhere else!” Ivy retorted coldly.
"So is dragon meat?" Alexander asked repulsively since that thing looks unwholesome at all.
"Yes indeed! Eating dragon meat can make you live forever." Ivy tilted her head while speaking.
"You wicked woman! Stop the car!" Alexander stopped the car and immediately opened the door, getting out of it and sitting in the passenger seat.
The Ashford family villa.
After Ivy got off the car, she still held onto river snail meat and broken shell fragments tightly fearing that Alexander would throw them away. Indeed, Alexander wanted to throw these things away, he had extreme cleanliness issues and couldn't tolerate such dirty things entering his home. He also didn't allow his daughters to eat this so-called dragon meat.
In order to have a chance to get rid of these dirty things, Alexander asked Maria, their housekeeper, to take Ivy for a bath. When Maria saw Ivy at first glance, she was almost scared stiff but then realized that Ivy wasn’t dead yet. She excitedly took her to the bathroom.
"Maria, please keep an eye on my stuff, nothing can be missing." At the entrance of the bathroom, Ivy repeatedly reminded her.
However, when Maria returned after later with fresh clothes for Ivy's changeover after bathing session ended, all of what Ivy called "stuff" was gone.
"Mr. Ashford! What happened to Ivy's stuff?"
"I threw it away! It’s all garbage!" Alexander said coldly.
"You just threw it away like that without telling her? She will definitely be upset about this," Maria said sadly.
"If she is not happy about it then let her leave!" After leaving this statement behind him as he went inside where six little girls were waiting for him.
Maria felt extremely guilty for not keeping an eye on those items properly which made them disappear from sight now. She knew that when Ivy came out after taking a shower she wouldn’t be happy at all because of this incident.
To alleviate her own guilt feelings, Maria quietly asked Ethan: "Where did Mr.Ashford throw those things?"
"In trash cans ten miles away," Ethan replied, turning his face away. He couldn't look Maria in the eye because he was lying. It was what his master Alexander had told him to say.
Just then, Leo's car arrived here. Ethan didn't allow him to enter the Ashford family villa and arranged twenty bodyguards to guard the gate.
Alexander was accompanying six daughters inside. If Leo saw this scene, his job would be in jeopardy.
Leo couldn’t get into the Ashford family villa and angrily cursed: "I'm going to find my grandmother now and have her fire you!"
