Chapter 41 Uncle, Save Mommy Please
Alexander felt heartbroken seeing these crying children and had a strange connection with them that he couldn't explain. Were they Ivy's children? Could it be that the so-called pets Ivy raised were not six monkeys but six daughters? Who could their biological father be?
Alexander slowly squatted down and asked one of the children, "What is your mommy's name?"
"Ivy..." The eldest daughter answered while crying.
It was indeed Ivy's child! Alexander was extremely shocked to learn that not only did Ivy have children, but she had sextuplets!
The eldest daughter noticed Alexander's kind eyes and felt a sense of familiarity. She quickly grabbed his hand and said, "Uncle, mommy was washed away by the flood. Everyone says she is dead, but I believe she isn't. Uncle, can you help me save her please..."
"Okay, uncle will help you save her." Alexander tightly held onto the eldest daughter's hand and asked her how old she was.
"Four years old..." The eldest daughter cried.
Was it actually three years old since they were virtually four years old?
Four years ago on the night he met Ivy for the first time when she was still a virgin. Even if Ivy got pregnant at that time and gave birth after ten months of pregnancy, these children should only be three years old.
Could these children be his?
Could this woman named Ivy secretly give birth to his child then claim to others that their father died?
A paternity test must be done immediately!
Alexander stood up with a serious expression on his face.
"Mr. Ashford..." Ethan didn't know what his master wanted to do.
When journalists saw someone else getting involved in this matter they wanted more material so they immediately aimed their cameras at Alexander who faced them sternly saying in an icy tone: "Turn off all machines! No media or organization is allowed to leak any information about the scene! Otherwise, it will be against the Ashford Family Group!"
Ashford Family Business, Alexander?
The journalists were scared but they had finally collected this news material and didn't want to give up. They stood still without filming or leaving.
This was simply provocation for Alexander.
Alexander signaled Ethan with his eyes and Ethan immediately left.
Three minutes later, dozens of fully armed Ashford family bodyguards arrived at the small hotel in a neat formation. They forcibly confiscated all the journalists' shooting equipment and smashed them on site.
Journalists watched helplessly as everything happened before their eyes. Some even hugged their heads and crouched in a corner fearing for their lives.
Five minutes later...
Alexander sat like an emperor on the sofa in the lobby of the small hotel with a cold expression on his face while staring fiercely at everyone making terrifying sounds: "This is just a small warning. Anyone who dares to oppose The Ashford Family will not have a good ending! Get out!"
With that roar, everyone watching scattered away from him.
The bodyguards quickly surrounded the small hotel so no one dared approach it anymore.
Maria carefully asked Alexander: "Sir... why are you helping us?"
"Because your child spoke to me!" Alexander pointed at the eldest daughter saying, "I promised her I would save her mommy."
"Uncle..." The eldest daughter cried as she threw herself into Alexander's arms saying: "Can you save mommy now? She was washed away by water and we don't know where she went. If we go too late then mommy will really drown..."
"Eldest daughter, your mommy has already..." Maria wanted to say that after such a long time Ivy must have drowned but couldn't bear to say it out loud when it came down to it.
"Okay, let's go save your mommy now!" Alexander picked up the eldest daughter and ordered the other five bodyguards to carry the other five little girls.
"Where is Missouri?" Alexander asked Maria.
"Sir, it's a disaster area now. Ordinary people can't get in there. Besides, Ivy has already..."
"Shut up! If she died then I'll make you accompany her!" Alexander shouted angrily and commanded: "Lead the way!"
