Chapter 351: Good, Just Stay at Home
"Uncle, why are you blocking us?"
"Hush..."
Owen shushed again, gesturing for the children not to speak.
Meanwhile, he leaned his ear against the door.
Hmm, eavesdropping?
The six children imitated him, all trying to press their little ears against the door.
Since the door wasn't wide enough, the six little ears couldn't all fit on it. The six little darlings pushed and shoved, competing for the prime spot.
Eldie didn't join in the competition with his sisters. Instead, she voluntarily crouched down and pressed his ear against the lowest part of the door.
Seeing this, the five sisters suddenly figured out a way. They positioned themselves at different heights, finally managing to stick their ears to the door.
In the room, Ivy sat nervously and shyly on the edge of the bed.
She really didn't expect that just yesterday, her life was still plain and ordinary, but today, she became a wife.
Although she had already given birth to six children, she had never truly entered married life. She had some expectations and nervousness about the future.
Alexander excitedly sat next to Ivy and rubbed his hands together. "Ivy, we're having a son!"
"Now?" Ivy glanced at the time. It was already half past eleven.
"Didn't we say the banquet starts at 11:58? It's almost time, isn't it?"
"You're right, time is too tight. Having a son is not something that can be rushed. Let's have the son after we eat!"
Alexander kissed Ivy on the forehead and spoke softly, "The three of us grooms are going to accompany the guests. You three brides should stay at the villa."
"Don't the brides need to accompany the guests?" Ivy was a bit surprised.
"Can you drink?" Alexander chuckled. "Good, just stay at home. That way, you won't drink too much and end up like four years ago."
Not attending the banquet? Ivy couldn't ask for more!
"Then go quickly, the banquet will start in twenty-something minutes!" Ivy waved her hand.
As soon as Alexander left, she could let loose.
"Why are you so eager to chase me away?" Alexander suddenly hugged Ivy stubbornly. "I don't want to go anymore. I want to make love to you first!"
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Ivy blushed and pushed Alexander away, anxiously watching the door. "The children are listening outside!"
"It's impossible. The housekeepers will take them away!" After saying that, Alexander raised Ivy's face and kissed her forcefully.
Outside the door, Forthie quietly asked Thirdie beside him, "Why aren't Mommy and Daddy talking anymore? I can't hear anything..."
"I can't hear anything either..." Thirdie switched to another ear and continued listening.
Eldie said, "I heard the sound of swallowing, they are kissing..."
Forthie listened intently and said, "No, no, they are sneaking food. I heard them eating..."
Eldie insisted on her point, "They are kissing, okay?"
Forthie disagreed, "They are obviously eating!"
"Kissing!"
"Eating!"
The two children's voices grew louder and louder, making a commotion. Despite Owen and the servants' efforts to stop them, they couldn't get them to stop. Inside the room, Ivy felt extremely panicked upon hearing the children arguing.
She wanted to push Alexander away to put an end to the heated kiss, but he refused to let go. In desperation, she had to bite him hard. "Ouch!" Alexander released Ivy in pain. "Hurry up and leave!" Ivy complained, her face blushing with embarrassment. "Alright, I'll leave, but I'll be back to continue!" Alexander licked his sore upper lip, still unsatisfied, and went to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, seven people of different ages and sizes tumbled in together. "Brother! You..." Alexander couldn't help but blush and feel hot at the thought of his own older brother eavesdropping on them.
