Chapter 510: Don't Let Him In Again
"I won't go back no matter what!" Ivy said decisively.
"Ivy, please don't be like this. Let me make a condition!" Alexander begged desperately, "Even if it means going through hell and high water, I don't mind!"
"Huh, going through hell and high water..." Ivy mocked, shaking her head. "Stop pretending, aren't you tired?"
Alexander's eyes were full of innocence. "Ivy, why do you have to say such hurtful words? When have I ever pretended? I sincerely apologize to you and want to take you back home..."
Ivy Foster looked straight into his eyes, "That's because you think I'm still pure. You learned the truth about me being pregnant through the Magic Pearl! If I weren't pure and the child I'm carrying belonged to someone else, would you still treat me this way? I'm sure you would have insulted me with all sorts of hurtful words, wishing to flay and torment me..."
"Ivy, am I really that kind of person?" Alexander pleaded with a heart full of grievances.
"Then, who left me here while I was unconscious?" Ivy asked.
Alexander's face was filled with guilt. "I...I just listened to Damien's slander..."
"Slander? Don't you have your own thoughts? Don't you trust me at all? Since you don't trust me, why bother asking me to come back? Life is long, or perhaps not, who knows what misunderstandings will happen in the future? Do I have to tolerate you every time?" Ivy's voice carried a hint of bitterness.
Alexander's face turned red. "It won't happen again, I promise. No matter what happens in the future, I will always stand by your side and not believe anyone else's words, only trust you..."
"Hmph!" Ivy Foster sneered, "But I don't trust you! You've doubted me more than once!"
"Ivy, I'm sorry!" Alexander apologized sincerely. "I was wrong, it was always my fault. I didn't understand you. I won't doubt you anymore."
"Don't say that. You can continue to doubt, it's fine. Because I'm planning to find a new partner who will trust me," Ivy said.
Finding a new partner?
Alexander's heart ached.
"Ivy, do you have to hurt me like this?" he asked.
"You hurt me first! You made me unable to trust anyone easily!" Ivy cried out, tears welling up in her eyes.
Alexander felt extreme heartache. He wanted to hug Ivy, but worried that she would become even angrier. With guilt, he said, "I'm sorry... What do you want me to do now?"
"I don't want to see you. I want you to leave immediately!"
"Ivy..."
"Aren't you leaving?" Ivy's teary eyes sparkled.
"Okay, then... I'll go out first. I'll stay in the courtyard. You can call me whenever you want to see me."
Just as he was about to leave, Ivy spoke to the Donald family, "Mrs. Donald, don't let him in again, or I'll leave immediately!"
"Okay, okay, Grandma promises you," Cici instructed the household staff, "Keep an eye on the door. If Ivy doesn't want to see someone, don't let them in!"
"Yes!" The household staff replied in unison.
Alexander felt heartsick.
Inside the helicopter, Alexander found a small medical kit for himself.
He disinfected and bandaged himself, without uttering a word throughout the whole process, as if he had autism.
Ethan always wanted to help, but he could never lend a hand.
He could only feel anxious.
At the same time, he also felt a bit heartbroken.
Poor master!
In the bedroom.
As soon as Alexander left, the little ones immediately crawled out of the covers, gasping for breath, feeling suffocated.
"Sorry, little ones, it's mommy's fault for making you suffer again, quickly drink your milk!"
"Wu ah...wu..."
The 12 little ones made coquettish sounds, surrounding Ivy, trying to be held and comforted.
Ivy touched and hugged each little one, handing them their milk.
Each little one had their own bottle, eagerly drinking it, the aroma filling the air.
While drinking, they stared at mommy with wide eyes, afraid that she would abandon them, yet afraid of not remembering what mommy looks like.
"Little ones!"
Ivy looked at the little ones affectionately, "Don't worry, mommy will never abandon you. But I don't know, out of the 12 of you, who is the oldest, who is the second oldest..."
As soon as Ivy finished speaking, the little ones automatically arranged themselves into a line, holding their bottles in their mouths.
In a neat row, it surprised and delighted Ivy.
Is this a lineup arranged according to their birth order?
