Chapter 776 A Foul Fish or Blue Cheese?
"Silly girl!" Maria laughed and said, "If he's not interested in you, would he offer to toe your foot and ask me to solve your smelly feet problem?"
"Oh, right!" Branden suddenly felt delighted. She no longer had smelly feet, she had grown taller, her body developed, and she could be considered a perfect woman.
Maria struck while the iron was hot and said, "Actually, you two are quite a match. Ethan is the assistant of the world's richest man, and you are the editor-in-chief of the world's richest man's wife. Whether it's height, appearance, or occupation, you two are a good match!"
"A good match..." Branden repeated these words, and her heartbeat couldn't help but accelerate.
Just then, Ethan's voice suddenly came from behind, "Indeed, you two are a good match!"
Branden nervously turned around and when she saw Ethan, she felt extremely shy.
Ethan was also a little embarrassed, lowering his head and saying, "Branden, you look really cute when you're shy..."
Branden lowered her head and asked, "Really?"
Ethan lowered his head too, "Really..."
Maria saw the two of them chatting with their heads down and not looking at anyone
Who, that's hilarious.
"Can you guys please talk with your heads up? Anyway, I'm going to help in the kitchen. You guys enjoy your chat."
With no outsiders around, Ethan and Branden immediately felt more relaxed.
"Branden, shall we take a walk in the garden?"
"Sure."
As they strolled, they talked and headed to the garden to enjoy the flowers.
Second floor of the villa.
Annabel and Richard were both busy in the study, one painting and the other crafting.
Richard finished writing a character and glanced at the time. "Annabel, it's almost lunchtime. Let's go downstairs."
"Great, I'm hungry too. Let's check the kitchen for some delicious food!" Annabel put down her paintbrush and went to wash her hands.
Richard opened the door and took a deep breath. "It seems like salted fish today, a strong salted fish smell!"
"No way?" Annabel said in surprise. It's only September now, where did the salted fish come from? It's supposed to be in December, right?"
Richard sniffed a few more times. "It's definitely salted fish. If you don't believe me, smell it!"
Annabel smelled it carefully. "I think it smells like Blue Cheese. Why would we suddenly have Blue Cheese?"
"It can't be Blue Cheese. I think it's salted fish!"
"I think it's Blue Cheese!"
The two argued all the way downstairs.
At this moment, Beckett and Samantha also came back from outside.
As soon as they entered, they smelled a distinctive odor.
Samantha said, "Why does it smell like fertilizer? It's so overpowering!"
Beckett replied, "This isn't fertilizer smell. Clearly, it's the smell of Blue Cheese! But this scent is too strong, it's choking..."
The maid who had thrown up earlier reported, "It's not the smell of salted fish, or Blue Cheese, or even fertilizer. It's a girl's..."
The maid wanted to say it was the smell of a girl's stinky feet but swallowed her words.
Because Branden and Ethan came back to the living room, holding hands.
Both of their faces were filled with a happy smile, obviously a couple in love.
"What is it, a girl's what?" Samantha and Annabel asked simultaneously.
"It's..." The maid dared not continue, seeking help from Maria with her eyes.
