Chapter 44 The Ashford Family Villa

Ivy tried many times and was almost out of strength, but she never gave up hope because she still had six children to feed. When she was exhausted, she closed her eyes not because she gave up struggling, but to conserve her energy.

She didn't believe that the vortex would never stop spinning. While it spun, she could breathe freely. Instead of struggling in vain, it was better to follow the rotation of the vortex and maintain normal breathing while storing energy. When the vortex stopped spinning, she would have enough energy to leave the black hole at the bottom of the water.

The Ashford family villa.

Alexander returned to the city and was worried about letting his children continue living in a small hotel so he brought all six little ones with him back to his villa. He left Maria behind to accompany them as he feared they might be afraid.

Suddenly there were seven more people in his house including rare sextuplets which made all servants feel quite fresh.

"Housekeeper, arrange for some delicious food for these kids immediately and give them a hot bath!" After giving orders Alexander walked wearily towards bathroom.

"Yes sir!" The housekeeper immediately went off to make arrangements.

As he passed by Maria's side he noticed how rustic and muddy she looked from head-to-toe causing him furrowed eyebrows. This country woman had no manners; did not know that his young master has OCD?

"You go stand over there!" The housekeeper designated a spot for Maria whereupon obediently complied.

Maria had never seen such a luxurious villa nor such extravagant decoration before; looking around enviously everywhere caused disdain from the housekeeper who thought: "This is really someone who hasn't seen much."

The sextuplets were even more curious than Maria; looking here and there then crawling around on sofas or under tables among various household items they'd never seen before.

They had just returned from the muddy roads of Missouri and were covered in mud. Everywhere they crawled left muddy footprints which made the housekeeper extremely disgusted; he quickly ordered other servants to clean up.

"Uncle, this house is so big!" The eldest daughter exclaimed sincerely.

The second daughter nodded her little head vigorously: "Yes, it's very beautiful too! It's as pretty as the houses on TV!"

"Quickly look over here, there are small goldfish!" The third daughter was lying next to a huge fish tank. She loved the small goldfish inside and couldn't help reaching out to catch them.

The small goldfish swam fast and she couldn't catch them no matter how hard she tried; her body kept leaning forward.

"Bang--"

The third daughter fell directly into the fish tank.

"Oh my god, a child has fallen into the fish tank!" A maid screamed in horror.

The housekeeper and other servants rushed over immediately trying to pull out the third daughter from inside but after falling in she became ecstatic swimming around happily chasing after small goldfish back-and-forth.

"Huh? This is fun! I want to play too!" The sixth daughter followed closely behind crawling towards edge of fish tank wanting to jump down below.

"Don't jump!" The housekeeper glared fiercely at sixth daughter who was suddenly scared crying non-stop.

"Why scare children like that?" Maria quickly picked up sixth daughter comforting her while asking: "Who do you think you are? How dare you shout at me!"

Pointing his finger at Maria for reprimand then knocking on side of fish tank with his hand causing him anger towards third girl inside: "Come out! Get out right now or else I won't be polite with you!"

Feeling disappointed by all this fuss, third girl floated up unhappily onto surface of water crying loudly while sixth daughter continued crying non-stop.

The housekeeper not only didn't comfort the children but was also annoyed to death; he really couldn't understand why his young master had brought so many unruly wild children back from the countryside.
