Chapter 76 We Need a Nanny at Home
"Really?" Ivy was overjoyed. That was great news, she would no longer owe Alexander any money.
However, as soon as she thought of the children being in Alexander's control, her face darkened again.
She had no ability to fight for the children with Alexander. What could she do to see them?
Alexander guessed what Ivy was thinking and gave her a cold glance. "If you don't want to work at Flower Shop anymore, you can find another job. My family needs a nanny now."
"A nanny?" Ivy's eyes lit up. If she went to work as a nanny at Alexander's house, wouldn't she be able to see the children?
She could just sneak into Ashford’s Family first and wait for the right time before taking all six maidservants away together.
"I'll go work as a nanny!" Ivy said eagerly.
"It's just that the pay is a little low." A hint of playfulness crossed the corner of Alexander's mouth.
"I don't care," Ivy replied hastily.
"Don't care? It's 24-hour shifts and only two thousand dollars per month, but it includes room and board."
"That's fine! I accept!" Ivy felt extremely excited when she thought that she would be able to see her children soon.
"Ivy, are you crazy?" Leo couldn't understand why Ivy acted like this. He pointed angrily at Alexander and said: "Alexander, aren’t you going too far? Two thousand dollars per month for working around the clock? This is pure slavery!"
"If she accept it then it’s okay." Alexander raised his thin lips slightly. "Ivy, get in the car."
"Okay!" Ivy said without any hesitation.
"Ivy... Are there any women more foolish than you in this world?" Leo was so angry that he couldn't help but shout. "If you want a job, I'll find one for you. You're a college graduate, it's not difficult to find a job with a monthly salary of over ten thousand dollars!"
Ivy turned around and said expressionlessly: "I'm going to work at his house. I can guard my family heirloom every day. For me, this is the best arrangement."
"Ivy..." Leo was really frustrated.
When Ivy was about to get into the car, she suddenly remembered something important.
She hadn't taken away the mussel meat she left for her children yet, so she went back to Blake and asked him: "Blake, is the mussel meat still there? Help me pack it up."
"It's here!" Blake hurriedly went to the refrigerator.
While he was getting the clams out of the fridge Ivy came across four bags of clam shells on which she picked six pieces with good luster and decided to take them back as jewelry for her children.
Blake saw what she did and found a bag for her where he put all six pieces in carefully before promising: "Luna, don’t worry! I will keep these shells safe. Without your instructions no one will touch them!"
"Thank you," Ivy hugged Blake gratefully. "I will definitely find the best way out for them and give you good news soon."
Blake didn't expect that Ivy would hug him voluntarily, after all, witches were hugging him - what an honor!
Trembling with excitement he handed over his business card saying: “Luna, this is my contact information. If you don’t mind we nine are always ready whenever needed just call us anytime.”
"Really?" Ivy happily took his business card and looked at it before giving him another hug."Thank you Blake."
Alexander saw this scene from afar and felt jealous instantly."Ivy! Are you leaving or not?"
