"Oh, Alex has come back, so I followed him back," Ethan replied with his head lowered.
"Really? They're back? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
Owen pouted like a child and said, "If you had told me earlier, I could have prepared gifts for both my brother and sister-in-law."

Owen thought Ivy was playing hide-and-seek with him. He checked the cabinet, pulled back the curtains, and even looked under the bed.

"Little brother, where's your sister-in-law? You didn't lose her, did you..." Owen half-jokingly said.

"Did you two have a fight? Did she go back to her parents' house?"
Maria walked over angrily and said, "She didn't go back to her parents' house! Your little brother abandoned Ivy and left her alone in M country while he came back!"
"Abandoned?"
Owen looked incredulously at Alexander. "What does that mean? Little brother, what do you mean by abandoning her? Weren't you supposed to take her on a honeymoon? Ah?!"
With a sigh of sadness, Alexander said, "Big brother, you don't understand matters of the heart. This is between her and me, you don't need to interfere!"
"I don't need to interfere? Why shouldn't I interfere? She is my sister-in-law!"
Owen grabbed Alexander's collar and said, "Give me a reason! What is the reason for abandoning her?"
With a pained expression, Alexander said, "Big brother, it's not that I abandoned her, I am doing it for her own good. She is carrying another man's child, so I sent her to be with the child's father..."
"It's the same as abandoning her!" Owen, furious, pushed Alexander onto the sofa with force.
