Chapter 739 Have You Never Lied?

"You've never lied?" Ivy chuckled disdainfully, giving examples without reservation.

"One day before we got married, I was staying at Maria's inn. You promised to have breakfast with me there, but as it neared noon, you messaged me saying that something came up at your company and you couldn't have breakfast, suggesting lunch instead."

"I had a hearty lunch all by myself, and then you messaged me again, saying that an important business partner came to your company and you had to personally entertain them."

"But in reality, your fake grandmother, Fiona, arranged three beautiful women for you and Leo to go on a blind date under the pretext of appraising antiques."

"If it weren't for the fact that I accompanied Grandfather Richard to appraise antiques that day, I wouldn't have known that you lied to me several times throughout the day. I appeared in front of you, and you knew where I was. When I messaged you asking where you were, you told me you were still at the company..."

Alexander was extremely embarrassed. "Let's not bring up the past. It was all out of necessity at the time. Haven't I lied since then?"

"Really?" Ivy thought carefully, her eyes filled with resentment. "When I was pregnant with our second child, you suspected that the baby in my belly was someone else's. So you took me abroad, claiming it was to help me investigate the truth of the pregnancy. But while I was asleep, you left me alone and came back by yourself. Isn't that lying?"

"And there's more!" Ivy grew angrier as she spoke. "What did you say when you invited me to work? You said I could name my salary and pick my position. But what happened after I went there? You arranged for me to work as a cleaner, doubling my hours and halving my salary. Isn't that lying?"

Alexander's face turned red. Couldn't this woman stop talking? It had been so long since all of these things happened.

"Ivy, I'm sorry. I apologize to you..." Alexander tried to reason with her, but Ivy completely ignored him and angrily continued, "The most infuriating thing is when I gave you a foot massage. Your phone fell into the water, and even though it wasn't damaged, you told me it was and demanded six million dollars in compensation. Isn't that lying?"

The more Alexander listened, the redder his face became. Realizing that apologizing wasn't enough, he had to take special measures.

"And also..." Ivy couldn't finish her sentence before Alexander covered her mouth.

"Let me speak... let me speak..." Regardless of Ivy's struggles, Alexander refused to let go.

He held the person in his arms tightly, kissing her passionately and lovingly.

There was no apology more sincere than this!

Ivy raised her small fist and repeatedly pounded it on Alexander's chest. But as she continued to punch, she began to surrender!

Collapsing into Alexander's embrace, her whole body went limp, allowing him to have his way without any resistance...

Kindergarten.

Lunchtime had arrived, and every preschool teacher was busy.

Get up, put the food on the food cart, and push it into your own classroom to serve the children.

Originally, Ivy's six daughters were in the same class as the other children.

But today, the six little girls brought 12 little brothers with them.

The teachers had to make new arrangements and put all 18 children in the same class.

When they saw the 12 identical little ones, the teachers were so excited that they almost exploded, all fighting to take charge of this class.

In the end, the teachers of the whole school drew lots to decide the winners.

There are six tables in a classroom, and each table can seat six children.

In theory, 18 children only need three tables, but Blake volunteered to have their nine brothers join the kindergarten as well.

So the teachers added three more tables and let all 18 bodyguards sit in the classroom.

Six rectangular tables, seating 36 people, half adults and half children.

After the meal cart was pushed over by the preschool teacher, they started to scoop rice into small bowls, and the assistant helped dish out the dishes.

The homeroom teacher walked around with hands behind their back, looking at the 18 bodyguards in distress and asked, "How should we arrange your meals?"
