Chapter 260 The Shells
Ivy said honestly, "Blake and his brothers have come. You don't need to bring the bodyguards tomorrow. Blake and his brothers have come to protect the children."
Her answer made Alexander more jealous.
"Ivy, is Blake very important to you? Why do you ask them to be your bodyguards?"
"They are good people and saved my life. I trust them," Ivy said bluntly.
She knew Alexander was jealous, but she thought it ridiculous.
She had asked the children to regard Blake and his brothers as their uncles. In a way, she treated them as her brothers.
Her relationship with them was simple. They were her brothers. Why was Alexander jealous?
"Okay. Since you trust them, I won't make any objections."
Although Alexander was jealous, he had to endure it. He had just reconciled with Ivy, and he couldn't risk falling out with her again.
"Anyway, remember not to get in anyone's car tomorrow. Just wait for me at home. You can only ride in my car!"
"I got it! I'm going to take Blake and his brothers to their rooms." Ivy hastily hung up the phone.
At this moment, Maria had arranged rooms for the nine men.
Blake stayed in a small single room alone, and the other eight men lived in four double rooms.
The eight brothers couldn't wait to take a bath, and only Blake stayed in the room alone.
At the sight of Ivy, Blake pointed to the five big bags in his room and said, "Ivy, the four sacks of clam shells are all in these five bags. Tell me where to put them, and I will carry them over!"
"This way. Follow me!"
Ivy took Blake to the basement and gave him a key.
"This key will be yours. Only the two of us have the keys to the basement."
"I got it!" Blake was excited. It turned out that Ivy trusted him so much.
After putting all the shells in the basement, Blake locked the basement door.
Looking at the stunning beauty, Blake had a lot of words to say to Ivy.
Ivy saw him through. She said she had to bathe the children and asked Maria to entertain Blake.
Maria looked at Blake's tall figure and couldn't help but blush.
He was tall, masculine, handsome, and young.
Whenever Maria saw him, her heart thumped uncontrollably.
She felt she was at least ten years younger when she was with Blake.
"Have... Have you had dinner yet? I'll make you some food." Maria rolled up her sleeves and turned to the kitchen.
"No, we ate on the way here," said Blake.
"I'll make you each a glass of juice. You've traveled a long way with such heavy bags. You must be tired and thirsty."
Blake was thirsty, so he agreed.
Maria took a lot of fruit. She washed them and cut them into pieces. She was busy.
Watching Maria make nine glasses of juice, Blake was grateful and couldn't help glancing at her.
He found Maria pretty. She was fair and had a good figure. There was a trace of sorrow on her face. She seemed to have suffered many hardships.
Recalling that Maria spent a lot of money on buying him and his brothers nine sets of clothes, Blake felt uneasy.
"Maria, can you friend me on WhatsApp? By the way, I'll give the money for the clothes to you."
At the mention of WhatsApp, Maria reached out for her phone. When she heard that Blake wanted to give the money to her, she withdrew her hand.
She said sulkily, "I don't mind friending you on WhatsApp if you want to be my friend. If you want to pay for the clothes, you can go to the counter and pay there. I don't lack the money."
