Chapter 307: A Whole New Person
"No!" Alexander firmly refused.
"Why?" Owen looked extremely disappointed and almost on the verge of tears.
Pointing at Thomas, he said resentfully, "Why can he hug you but I can't? Aren't you supposed to be my real brother? Does his relationship with you mean more than mine?"
These words left Alexander speechless.
Seeing Owen's innocent and pure gaze, Alexander felt that he had been too cruel with his words just now.
It's just a hug after all...
But what else could he do?
He couldn't possibly say to Ivy, "Could you please hug my brother?"
He couldn't say such words, and he couldn't do such a thing.
Ivy found Owen incredibly adorable and despite his unreasonable request, she didn't get angry.
"Come on, let's hug." Ivy generously opened her arms and hugged Owen.
Before Owen and Alexander could react, Ivy immediately withdrew her hands.
"Okay, we've hugged now. Don't feel that your little brother is being unfair to you anymore. In Alexander's eyes, you're an extremely important person."
"Yeah, I understand." Owen nodded gratefully.
His sister-in-law had hugged him, which touched him deeply. The problem was, he didn't get to fully experience the hug as his sister-in-law had already withdrawn her hands.
It was too unsatisfying, really.
Knowing that his brother had a simple mind and understanding that Ivy had good intentions, Alexander let go of the matter about the hug.
Hand in hand with Owen and Ivy, he quickly left the cave.
When they reached the entrance of the cave, Alexander asked Ivy, "Did you find Leo?"
"I... didn't go look for him!" Ivy felt a bit embarrassed. "I thought they would know."
Didn't go look for Leo? Then where did this woman just go?
Alexander examined Ivy closely and suddenly realized that she had become much more beautiful than before.
Was it just his imagination? Or did Ivy experience something during that time?
Surveying the area near the cave entrance, he had a vague feeling that something was off, but couldn't quite figure it out for the moment.
Owen, on the other hand, noticed it keenly. "Hey, where are the flowers? Where did all the blue and white poisonous flowers go?"
Upon realizing that the blue flower wreath on Ivy's head was also missing, Owen asked in surprise, "Sister-in-law, where did the blue flowers on your head go? Why did all the poisonous flowers disappear?"
As Owen said this, Alexander finally realized what was wrong.
When he and Ivy first arrived at the cave, the entrance was filled with alluring flowers.
There were blue flowers and white flowers, hanging like bells on the vines.
Now, strangely enough, not only were the flowers gone, but the vines as well, as if there had never been any flowers here to begin with.
Looking at Ivy, she had indeed become much more beautiful than before.
Before, Ivy had her hair down, but her hair was definitely not neat.
It's as if she just had her hair straightened and treated, silky smooth, so smooth that even a gentle breeze would make it float elegantly. And when you look at her face, it has changed a lot too. Her eyes seem larger, more vibrant, her eyelashes longer, her skin much fairer, and her eyebrows perfectly shaped as if just recently groomed. Her lips are rosy and glossy, as if she just put on makeup, as if she's been given a beauty treatment before applying makeup.
Not only has her hair and facial appearance changed, but her figure has also undergone noticeable transformations. Her waist is slender and can be held delicately, her upper and lower curves are exceptionally full, showing a classic hourglass figure, as if she just had cosmetic surgery. The most astonishing thing is that Ivy's eyes have actually changed color. The previous black pupils have disappeared, replaced by a pair of slightly blue glowing blue eyes.
What on earth has happened here? If you say Ivy has changed, she has changed from head to toe. If you say Ivy hasn't changed, she hasn't changed from head to toe. She is still the same person, just as if she has been reborn.
