Chapter 305: Cannot Do Evil Things
Later, in order to quickly cultivate his divine skills, Thomas impulsively drank the blood of kidnapped innocent children. Once he started, he could not stop...
Thinking about this, Thomas deeply regretted his actions. If he had known earlier that cultivating divine skills required staying on the right path and avoiding evil deeds, he would never have joined the human trafficking gang.
But now it was too late, he had become an unforgivable villain. Could he become a good person again?
"Master, why didn't you tell me these things eight years ago?" Thomas said with a touch of grievance.
If his master had told him earlier, he would never have become the leader of a human trafficking syndicate.
Owen replied, "I didn't know back then either. These are insights I gained during my cultivation in recent years. Thomas, you've been practicing for eight years, haven't you gained any understanding at all?"
Thomas hesitated, "I..."
If his master found out that he had become the leader of a human trafficking gang, he would definitely be expelled from the sect. Expulsion would not be lenient, he might even be tortured to death!
With this in mind, Thomas decided to guard his secret with his life and never let his master know his true identity.
"Master, from now on, I will diligently practice and sincerely seek understanding," Thomas promised.
"Well done, my good disciple," Owen said, his expression solemn.
In an instant, he turned to Alexander with a smile on his face and said, "Little brother, come with me."
Owen led Alexander outside the cave and pointed to the diagrams on the stone wall. "Little brother, this is the diagram of the Rejuvenation of Youth. If you want to practice it, you can memorize the diagrams."
"Yes, I've already memorized these diagrams," Alexander said confidently after just a glance.
"So quickly? How did you memorize them?" Owen couldn't believe it.
Thomas said, "He probably took pictures with his phone."
With that, Thomas took out his smartphone and photographed the diagrams on the stone wall.
"I didn't take any pictures," Alexander pointed to his head. "I memorized them with my mind."
"I also memorized them with my mind," Owen pouted like a child. "But it took me half a year to do it. How can you remember after just one look?"
Alexander smirked, "Your little brother here has a photographic memory."
"Photographic memory? That's amazing!" Owen's face was full of envy.
Whenever Alexander thought about the hardships his brother had endured at the cliff, he felt uneasy. He hugged Owen tightly and said, "Brother, one day, I will make sure you also have a photographic memory!"
Deep down, he knew that his ability to remember things was entirely due to the magic pearl inside him. If he ever obtained another magic pearl, no matter what, he would give it to his brother.
"You're such a good little brother," Owen felt a wave of emotions surging in his heart. "I want to go home with you."
"I want to see my parents, I want them to know that I am still alive," Owen said. Alexander really wanted to tell Owen that their parents had already passed away. But he felt it was not the right time to bring up such matters, so he decided to wait until they went back.
"Hey, where is my sister-in-law? Where did she go?" Owen couldn't find Ivy anywhere and started to worry.
Alexander couldn't see Ivy around and concluded that she had already left the cave. "Could she be angry?" he thought. He had only asked Ivy to step out for a moment, not to see Thomas's special injury. But she went straight out of the cave!
If she wasn't angry, then she must have gone to find Leo. "She went out ahead of us, let's hurry and go, we still need to find someone," Alexander immediately pulled Owen towards the entrance of the cave.
