Chapter 131 Pulling Out Hairs
Ethan thought this report was wrong. But he was not clear about which procedure was incorrect. He must make up for this mistake in the shortest possible time.
Alexander had repeatedly told Ethan today to show the paternity test to Annabel to resolve the contradiction between her and Ivy.
But this test was unusable. Ethan had to take another paternity test immediately. It was almost noon. If he got the hairs from the kids and Alexander, he could make another paternity test at three or four in the afternoon.
He was not a good assistant and housekeeper if he could not even do such little things well.
When Ethan arrived at the small hotel, these six girls watched television with Maria.
Hannah graciously helped Maria water the flowers and occasionally looked at these girls and Maria. Ivy was out, and Hannah planned to wait for an opportunity to abduct these six children.
Hannah missed an excellent opportunity when Ivy went shopping for vegetables in the morning and couldn't miss it again this time.
"Ethan, why are you here?" Maria was surprised.
"Maria, do me a favor!" Ethan didn't want to delay too long. He pulled Maria aside, took out the paternity test, and briefly told everything to Maria.
"It is the paternity test report. The results show Ivy's children are not kin related to Mr. Ashford. There must be something wrong. Hence, I have to do a new test. Can you help me pluck a few hairs off the children? The sooner, the better."
"Okay!" Maria nodded repeatedly and went to the children.
"Girls, I have to borrow some of your hair." After her words, Maria went to pull out their hair.
"Oh, it hurts. Why do you want to pull our hair?" Before Alice could react, Maria pulled a few hairs. Alice was full of grievances.
"Ah, it hurts so much. Don't pull it out." Mollien burst into tears in pain. Maria pulled out her two hairs.
Hearing it hurt to pull out hair, Hana, Susan, and Rowling were unwilling to let Maria do that. They ran around, covering their heads.
At the last paternity test, only Molly went with Alexander to the hospital. Hence, she knew what the paternity test was.
Molly took the initiative to Maria. "Maria, you can pluck my hair. It hurts them."
Maria felt moved. "Aren't you fearful of the pain?"
"I'm not fearful. As long as it can prove we are related, it doesn't matter if it hurts a little."
"You must be related." Maria pulled out three hairs of Molly and asked Ethan, "Is it enough?"
Seeing hairs from the three children were enough, Ethan said, "It is enough. These six girls are multiple births, and they all have the same gene. We don't need to pluck all of their hair."
Collecting these hairs in a plastic bag, Ethan asked quickly, "Where is Mr. Ashford? Did he go to the company or..."
He thought Alexander was mostly with Ivy on a date. Perhaps they went to see a movie.
"You are the assistant of Mr. Ashford. But you ask me where he is?" Maria looked confusedly at Ethan.
Ethan smiled. "I'm the housekeeper now. He came here to eat in the morning. Hence, I thought you would know."
Mentioning eating, Maria got angry. "Don't mention it to me. We waited for him in the morning, but he didn't come. We starved so much. He said he would come, but he didn't. And he also said he would come at noon. But he didn't come! He cannot keep his promises, right?"
"No. Mr. Ashford must be busy. He has a lot of work to do. I'll go to the hospital. You take good care of the six children." Ethan pointed to the sextuplets and quickly went out of the hotel.
Ethan contacted Alexander by phone and learned Alexander was in the Ashford Villa. Then, Ethan drove there immediately.
It was lively in the Ashford Villa.
There were three old friends of Mrs. Ashford with their granddaughters. One of her friends had three identical granddaughters.
