Chapter 69 I am a Witch

"Ahahaha..."

Ivy couldn't stop laughing.

Two big and strong men were so afraid of her that she could hardly believe it. Her laughter, which was quite ordinary, sounded eerie and terrifying to Blake and Oliver's ears.

The two kept kowtowing and begging for mercy, fearing the witch would eat them.

Ivy found it hilarious. She approached them and whispered, "I am a water-controlling witch. You don't have to be afraid of me if you don't do anything bad. I won't harm you."

Witch? Really? The two were half-believing.

"We promise not to do anything bad. As long as the witch doesn't hurt us, we will serve you," said Blake piously while bowing down.

"Yes, we'll serve you," Oliver bowed down.

Serve her? Ivy narrowed her beautiful eyes in amusement. Did this mean she was going to have servants now?

"Blake, where are you? Are you in the warehouse?" William's voice came from outside the warehouse door.

Lowering her voice, Ivy said: "Go out but don’t reveal my identity."

"As per your command," replied Blake with his head bowed low before repeating it for Oliver’s benefit.

Inside, Ivy laughed heartily at their obedience, but on the surface, only shook her head saying: "You can call me Luna instead."

"Yes."

"Don't tell anyone about my secret."

"Yes."

"Now go out.”

“Yes.”

After Blake led Oliver out, he nervously closed the warehouse door for Ivy. 'Blake, what were you and Oliver doing in there?' William was extremely curious.

"It's none of your business." Blake coldly replied while asking what William wanted from him.

William explained: "A lot of people suddenly appeared by the riverbank led by someone who brought dozens of thugs along. They were asking about a woman named Ivy. I don't know if this woman is Luna, so I came to ask you."

"What?" Blake quickly pushed open the warehouse door and wanted to ask Ivy what they should do, but she was already gone.

In fact, after hearing William's words, Ivy had looked out of the warehouse window towards the riverbank.

She saw Leo, whom she least wanted to see, with dozens of people behind him.

Thinking that Leo was seeking revenge on her because of what happened four years ago, she decisively jumped into the river and took refuge in the bottom of the ship. After all, she had the Magic Pearl to protect herself, which enabled her to breathe freely underwater and stay there as long as she needed..

Alexander was also in the crowd, but he dressed low-key enough that Ivy didn't notice him immediately.

Soon Alexander and Leo arrived on board with dozens of bodyguards in tow.

As soon as they arrived, Alexander used one of his bodyguard's phones to dial Blake's number.

Blake answered nervously: "Hello? Who is it? Are you here for fish?"

Alexander raised his phone, smiling evilly: "It's you guys from the club?"

Blake hung up immediately, feeling extremely nervous. He thought since Ivy was a witch, he couldn't tell whether these people were demons or gods, so it would be better not to offend them easily.

"It's you guys! Hand over Ivy!" Leo shouted loudly

"She... she isn't here," replied Blake bowing his head down. He couldn’t tell if they were human or demons. Either way, offending them wouldn’t end well for anyone involved!

"That's impossible!" Leo ordered the bodyguards, "Search every inch of this place!"

The guards rushed onto the fishing boat, searching every nook and cranny while William tried stopping them, but Blake held him back.

Dozens of guards searched through everything on board, but couldn't find Ivy.

One of the guards came out holding a blood-stained bandage and reported to Alexander: "Mr. Ashford, we didn't find anyone but we found this."
