Chapter 198 How Many Men
"Hello, everyone!" Blake responded promptly, feeling excited and thrilled deep inside. He couldn't believe Ivy was being so good to him, making him the uncle of her children.
Ivy pointed at Aaron, saying, "This is Uncle Aaron, who once cooked clam meat for me. Come on, say hello to Uncle Aaron."
"Hello, Uncle Aaron." All six children chimed in unison, their voices clear and melodious.
"Hello, hello, everyone," Aaron said, tears welling up in his touched eyes.
"This is Uncle Jareth. This is Uncle Dorian, Uncle Cassius, Uncle Merrick, Uncle William, Uncle Ignatius, and Uncle Oliver."
Ivy introduced them one by one, and the children greeted each uncle eagerly. The excitement on the faces of Blake and his eight brothers was beyond words.
Clearing her throat, Ivy continued. "From now on, you all have uncles. If you need anything and I am not here, you can go to your uncles. It's alright if others have fathers to care for them because you have uncles who will dote on you. As long as your uncles are here, you'll never be alone, and no one will ever dare to bully you."
While Ivy spoke these words, Alexander felt a bitter taste in his heart. He wanted to say something several times but hesitated to speak up.
"Mommy, is this true?" the six children blinked their big eyes. They couldn't be sure that their uncles possessed such magical abilities.
Ivy nodded.
"Can we go to our uncles for anything?" The six children's eyes sparkled with excitement.
The uncles nodded.
"Yeah!"
The six children were overjoyed, quickly forgetting about their biological father.
Curiously, the six children gathered around their uncles one by one.
"Ivy..." Alexander tenderly said.
Ivy seemed to completely ignore him and said to the children, "Come on, let me introduce a few more uncles to you."
Pointing her finger at Ben, she said, "This is Uncle Ben. He is very brave. When Grandpa Richard and Grandma Samantha had a car accident, he rescued them immediately. From now on, he's your big uncle. Say hello!"
"Hello, Uncle Ben." All six children spoke in unison.
"Hello, everyone." Ben greeted the children happily.
Ivy then pointed to Michael and said, "You all already know Uncle Michael, right? Say hello!"
"Hello, Uncle Michael." The six children automatically lined up and greeted him.
"Hello, everyone," Michael said, tears welling up in his eyes. Ivy making him the children's uncle showed that she still valued him and hadn't directed her anger toward him due to Hannah's betrayal. Naturally, he was extremely happy.
Leo was worried that he couldn't even make it to the list of uncles. He immediately handed Richard's lost wallet and documents to Ivy and said, "Ivy, here are Richard's belongings. I found them for you. Do you believe me now?"
"What do you mean?" Ivy asked, knowing well what he meant.
Ivy wanted Leo to repeat his words in front of Alexander, to let him hear.
"Well..." Leo glanced at Alexander, feeling extremely uncomfortable. "Well, I don't mind that you have children, and it doesn't matter whose children they are. As long as you're willing to accept me, I will wholeheartedly treat you well, cherish you, love you, and cherish and love the children! I will spoil and love you all forever!"
Since he had to say it, he might as well make it sound better.
Upon hearing Leo's words, Alexander felt a piercing pain in his heart.
Just because the paternity test report stated no biological relationship, he had changed his attitude toward Ivy. But Leo, knowing well that the child wasn't his own, still treated Ivy well as before.
If Leo was considered a scumbag, then what about Alexander?
"Leo, you're really good." Ivy deliberately hugged Leo passionately in front of Alexander, giving him a tight squeeze and blinking her eyes, tears of emotion streaming down.
While wiping away her tears, Ivy said, "Leo, let's forget about the past. I don't want to bring it up again. The present you truly impresses me. Not only do you keep your promises and remain loyal, but you also have an incredibly forgiving heart. How many men in this world can do what you're doing, willing to raise a child that isn't their own?"
Leo held Ivy tightly. "Ivy, don't cry. I will take good care of you and the children. I won't let you down."
Alexander clenched his fists, wanting to speak, but no words came out.
Could it be that Ivy really intended to be with Leo?
