Chapter 472: Thick Smoke Rises

In the kitchen, Eldie and Secondie threw all the plates onto the floor.
"Crash..."
"Clatter..."

The chefs and servants were frightened and quickly rushed into the kitchen to clean up.
Although they were very angry with the two children, they couldn't hit or scold them. They begged Eldie and Secondie like they were ancestors, pleading for them to stop throwing things.
But Eldie and Secondie didn't listen. After throwing the plates, they went on to throw the wine and glass cups, anything that could be thrown was shattered!

In no time, the kitchen was in a mess.
When Eldie was about to turn on the oven, the chefs fiercely guarded it.
"Young masters, please stop. These are all cooking tools..."
"Then let's go tear books!" Eldie pulled Secondie and happily rushed towards the study, casually grabbing a lighter on the way.

Their real goal was to start a fire and flood to activate the villa's security system.
So throwing some plates and cups was just to distract the attention of the chefs and servants.
On the other hand, Thirdie and Forthie were tossing around the antique objects in the attic, making the bodyguards nervous one by one.

Although these antique objects were not very old and not worth much now, they would eventually become valuable antiques in the future as they couldn't be found on the market anymore.
Alexander must have kept these antique objects for a reason, and if he returned to find that they were all destroyed, he would definitely be furious!

"Young masters, please stop throwing. I beg of you!" The captain of the bodyguards pleaded desperately.
Thirdie clapped his hands, "These antique objects are so dirty, let's go wash our hands!"
Forthie instantly understood, "Let's go wash our hands!"
The captain of the bodyguards finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly called on all the bodyguards to clean up the antique objects. Regardless, they had to tidy up the house before Alexander returned.
But what tormented them was that Fifthie and Sixie were causing a big commotion in the living room.

Not only did they break various vases, they also shattered a huge fish tank with their small hammers. They didn't realize that the fish inside were worth a fortune!
The captain of the bodyguards immediately fetched a basin from the kitchen and caught several valuable little fish. Then, he poured in half a basin of water and cautiously placed it on the cabinet, treating it like an offering to ancestors.
Afterwards, they all joined in the labor to clean up the glass shards and ceramic debris on the floor.

As for Owen, he just stood by and watched the chaos. He didn't know who to help.
If he helped the maids and bodyguards clean up, he would be going against the six little girls, and they would certainly hold a grudge against him. He might end up being eliminated by them.
But if he helped the six little girls in searching the house, it would be going against his younger brother Alexander. He would have no place in the Ashford family in the future!

Since helping anyone would be difficult, it would be better to quietly watch the chaos.
Owen moved
Put the chair in a blind spot under surveillance, and leisurely play mobile games.
Every now and then, he would say, "Let me know if you need any help!"
I don't know who he was talking to, but the house servants and bodyguards would never ask him for help anyway.
Meanwhile, the six children were busy, with no time to spare for conversations with others.
This was the scene in the living room.

Eldie, Secondie, Fifthie, and Sixie, the four little girls, worked together to drag a section of the sofa to an empty space in the center of the living room.
They scrambled to pile books on the sofa, tearing apart hundreds of books in less than a minute.
They intended to start a fire, yes, but only to activate the villa's security system, not to burn down the entire place.

The bodyguards and house servants assumed that the children were just tearing books for fun, thinking that the damage would be relatively small, so they didn't stop them right away. They decided to clean up the broken glass and ceramic fragments on the floor first.
Little did they expect, Eldie took advantage of the adults' momentary distraction and used a lighter to ignite the books on the sofa.

In the blink of an eye, a ball of fire appeared in the center of the living room, billowing smoke rising towards the ceiling, shocking everyone!
