Chapter 312: Sleep Well When Tired

"You're such a good girl, sleep well when you're tired," Alexander's lips curled up with a satisfied curve, gently patting Ivy's back like he would with a child.

If he were to sing a lullaby now, he'd be a perfect picture of a nurturing father.

Before long, the plane took off.

The deafening roar gradually faded away in the valley.

The Ashford family mansion.

Annabel, Richard, the six little girls, and Blake, along with all the Ashford family's housekeepers, eagerly waited at the gate.

When they saw the helicopter approaching, they excitedly shouted,

"They're back!"

"Mommy and Daddy are back!"

"They're finally back. Leo must be okay!"

As soon as the cabin door opened, everyone rushed forward eagerly.

Ivy was sleeping soundly on Alexander's lap, and he didn't want to wake her up, so he let the others disembark first.

Owen and Thomas walked out under Leo's lead.

"Uncle Leo! You're not dead, thank goodness!"

"Uncle Leo! You scared us."

"Oh my beloved benefactor, I missed you!"

"Benefactor!"

"Benefactor!"

"Benefactor!"

The six little girls rushed into Leo's arms, jostling to be the first.

"We missed you too, Uncle Leo..."

Leo's eyes welled up with moved tears as he hugged each of the six adorable bundles and gave them a kiss.

"I'm really sorry, I caused trouble for everyone." Leo bowed sincerely to everyone, apologizing.

Annabel warmly held Leo's hand. "Leo, you're still young, with a long road ahead in life. We are all discerning people and won't hold your mother and grandmother's mistakes against you. From now on, just like Alexander, you can call me grandmother. I'll treat you the same way I treat him."

"Grandmother..."

Leo tightly embraced Annabel, crying like a child.

The six little girls saw Owen with his long hair and curiously approached.

"Daddy looks younger!" Fourthie exclaimed. "Daddy, why is your hair so long?"

"Daddy must be wearing a wig!"

"Daddy is testing to see if we can recognize him."

"But we recognized him right away."

Thirdie, Fifthie, and Sixie happily approached Owen.

In their eyes, their father was just wearing a wig to play with them.

Eldie and Secondie exchanged a glance and held hands as they walked up to Owen.

Owen didn't expect his brother to have so many children, and they all looked exactly the same.

Counting them, there were six in total, truly a joyous sight.
Each cute little one.

He was surrounded, treated like a real dad by everyone, and he felt a little nervous and uncertain.

Leo was about to tell the sextuplets that this person wasn't their real father, but their uncle.

But then Secondie reached out her chubby little hand to Owen and said, "Daddy, I want a hug."
Owen sweetly smiled, showing a sunny expression, and bent down slightly, carefully picking up Secondie.

He had never held a child before, only baby monkeys in the forest.
He thought Secondie would be similar in weight to a baby monkey, but only when he hugged him did he realize that this child was really heavy, with a body full of flesh, solid and firm.

"Oh, so heavy!" Owen almost lost his grip and nearly dropped Secondie to the ground.

"Is Daddy saying that I'm fat? Hmph!" Secondie grumpily snorted.
Thinking about the wig on "Daddy's" head, Secondie grabbed a strand of hair, ready to remove his father's wig as revenge for calling her fat.
