Chapter 444: Am I Just a Decoration as a Father?
Maria was getting annoyed by Ethan, when did she want to leave? Although this was not her home, she and Blake had to go back sooner or later, but Ivy hadn't returned yet. With six children losing their freedom, how could she just leave like that without any worries?
Trying to reason, she said, "Mr. Ashford, can I take the sextuplets back? After all, Ivy is my sister, and since she's not home, as her older sister, I should be responsible for taking care of the children."
Alexander's face darkened, "Do you think I am just a decoration as a father?"
Maria felt a bit embarrassed, "You... weren't you doubting that the six of them are not your biological children?"
Alexander cast down his gaze, "Then you can wait until the DNA test results come out before leaving!"
Immediately, Foster shut the bedroom door.
Alexander's implication was clear. If the DNA test results proved that the sextuplets had no relationship with the Ashford family, Maria could take them away.
If the DNA test results proved that the sextuplets were biologically his, no one could take the children away!
With that said, Maria and Blake became slightly uneasy.
Not only them, but Annabel and Richard were also very worried.
Everyone sat on the sofa in the living room, waiting for the results.
Each and every one of them prayed in their hearts, hoping that these six children were the seed of Alexander. That way, Ivy's future would be better.
The sextuplets were still diligently reading various books in the bookcase. After all, three hours is not short, and since there were readily available books in front of them, why not make good use of their time and read?
Perhaps soon, the six of them would be wandering the world, and then they wouldn't have such a good opportunity to read.
In the living room, Annabel worried about Ivy's safety and asked Maria, "How is Ivy doing now?"

Maria looked at the time and said, "Don't call now, Grandpa Richard. It's noon here, but it's late at night in Country M. Ivy should be asleep at this time. I believe that when she wakes up, she will contact me immediately."

Two hours passed, and everyone was getting a bit tired, leaning on the sofa and dozing off.

Owen was in a great mood, "Granny, Grandpa Richard, I bought several new clothes for each of you. Come and try them on!"
"You child, always spending money for us. We have clothes to wear." Anna interrupted.
"Grandma, Grandpa Richard, I also bought clothes for you. After all, you're going on a world tour, it's always good to bring a few more clothes." Leo handed over his handbag.
"Leo, you are so thoughtful!" Annabel said gratefully.
"You all are thoughtful, thank you so much." Richard also looked grateful.
"Maria, Blake, you two also have gifts." Owen eagerly handed over two handbags.
"I also brought something for you." Leo also handed over his own prepared gift.
Maria and Blake were both very surprised, they didn't expect Owen and Leo to think of them too.
"When my younger brother and his wife come back, I will buy them some gifts as well. The cinema has been doing particularly well these days, earning a lot of money every day. I'm really happy!" Owen said happily.
