Chapter 218 Terrible Lightning
With James' words, everyone made their own choices.
The chubby and the older employees decided to stay with James.
The skinny employees and the employees with glasses followed Ivy's team.
Therefore, Ivy's team included six adults with six children and each of them held a child.
The group of people swarmed to the mountain.
As they walked on the road, a sudden flash of lightning crossed the sky, as if it was about to tear the sky apart.
A rumbling sound followed, and everyone was frightened.
"Mommy, I'm so scared..."
"Mommy, I'm afraid too..."
"Mommy I want daddy..."
"Mommy..."
The children trembled with fear, and the adults who were holding them hurried to coax them.
Such terrible lightning made Ivy nervous, too. But she pretended to be calm and coaxed the children. "It's okay. We'll find our Dads soon!"
With a wild gale, the branches of several big trees were cracked, and the small trees were directly blown down in the middle.
"It's okay, calm down..." Anthony comforted everyone with a trembling voice. "We are getting closer to the back mountain. We would be safe... soon!"
When he just ended his words, another flash of lightning flashed across the sky.
"Crack!"
A laser-like lightning hit the big tree in front of them.
The smell of burnt wood quickly filled everyone's nose.
Everyone was too scared to move forward. While, at that moment, pouring rain, together with a stronger gale, made a chilling sound of howling.
"Oh no, the storm is coming! Let's go quickly!"
With Anthony's shout, everybody moved faster.
In their front, a hare was running desperately, with a fierce tiger roaring and chasing after it.
"Mommy, it's a tiger..."
As soon as Molly spoke, Ivy quickly covered her mouth.
The tiger quickly caught the rabbit and tore it apart with its sharp claws at once. It enjoyed the nice meal in such a brutal way.
The whole group was stunned by the scene in front of them, and no one dared to take another step. If the tiger rushed over, they would be doomed.
After the tiger finished eating the rabbit, he was obviously far from full and content. His sharp eyes looked around, looking for the next target.
"Please don't see us. Don't see us..." the skinny employee said as if reciting scriptures.
But the tiger had already seen them. It raised its front paws with an exciting roar and intended to leap on them.
"Crack!" It was another crash of thunder.
A flash of lightning struck the tiger instantly.
The brutal flesh immediately turned stiff.
"That was close!"
They sighed and carefully walked around the tiger.
When Ivy passed by the tiger, she had a special feeling.
After checking, she found that the tiger's abdomen was slightly blue, and there seemed to be a kind of magical power in it.
Magic Pearl!
The tiger had the Magic Pearl.
If its Magic Pearl was not taken away, the tiger would restore its life through the energy from the Magic Pearl. Once it happened, no one could beat it.
"Ben!" Ivy cried and handed over Molly to Ben, "Thanks for carrying two children!"
"No problem." Ben thought Ivy was tired of holding the child, so he didn't think too much about it.
To his surprise, Ivy ran to the tiger.
"Ivy, what are you doing?" Ben asked curiously.
With a faint smile, Ivy said, "I want to take it with me, and if today we can't get there, we can cook it as dinner!"
At that moment, the tiger's paw moved slightly. The lightning-scorched body was slowly recovering.
Ivy was alert to the situation. It did have Magic Pearl inside!
"The tiger moved? Is it alive?"
Anthony was extremely worried and shouted nervously, "Ivy, it's not dead yet. Get away from it. Let's go!"
