Chapter 749 Do You Want Me to Monitor Her?
"Ivy, why are you holding the phone?" Beckett asked.
"I am making a call. I was attracted by your impassioned words!"
Ivy immediately put the phone to her ear. "I'll continue making the call outside. You can continue your conversation!"
Samantha had already achieved her goal and didn't want to stay here any longer. "Mr. Ashford, since you're in such a hurry to get rid of me, I will leave!"
"Wait!" Beckett felt that something was off. "Tell me, what was your purpose in coming here today?"
What was it? Obviously, to persuade you to give up on Annabel. Samantha answered in her mind.
Ivy said that Alexander had already tried persuading Beckett, but no matter how he tried, it was to no avail.
"What is your purpose for coming here?" Beckett became a bit irritated.

Her true purpose for coming here was to persuade Beckett to let go and support Richard and Annabel.
Now that things had succeeded, she was overjoyed. How could she possibly want to separate Richard and Annabel?
Samantha's smile was ordinary, but in Beckett's eyes, it was filled with conspiracy.
He couldn't help but think of Annabel's older sister, Fiona. That woman was willing to harm Annabel, disregarding their sisterly bond, just to have him. After her evil plot was exposed, she even caused the deaths of seven members of the Ashford family.
If her own older sister could do such things, what could Samantha, who had no blood ties, possibly do?
"Samantha, I don't care what bad ideas you have, you are not allowed to use them on Annabel, and you are not allowed to use them on Richard, whom she loves! Otherwise, I will not be polite to you!" Beckett warned.
He even warned her!
However, the more Beckett warned, the happier Samantha became.
This clearly indicated that Beckett had completely let go of Annabel, and he didn't want anyone to ruin Annabel and Richard's happiness.
"Alright, I got it!" Samantha said with a smile.
Beckett furrowed his brows tightly, unable to figure Samantha out.
Has this woman really understood? Could she be like Fiona, saying one thing and meaning another?
In a cold voice, he said, "Miss, I don't understand you and I don't trust you. I hope you can make a promise here, a promise to never ruin Annabel and Richard in the future!"
"I not only promise, but I can also swear to the heavens!" Samantha smiled and stretched out her hand. "I swear to the heavens that I will never ruin Annabel and Richard and sincerely hope that they will be happy, harmonious, and last forever!"

"Samantha is leaving? Let me go say goodbye to Grandpa." Ivy immediately entered the living room. "Grandpa, Samantha and I are heading back."
"Wait!" Beckett felt that something was off but couldn't pinpoint what it was. "Ivy, I have some concerns about this Samantha. When you go back, please keep an eye on her and prevent her from harming Grandma Annabel."
"Do you want me to spy on Samantha?" Ivy shook her head. "I can't do that."
"Lower your voice!" Beckett whispered. "I didn't ask you to spy on her, just watch over her and prevent her from ruining Grandma Annabel's happiness."
