Chapter 745 Samantha is a Negotiation Expert

When they were about to take the children to a restaurant, Alexander suddenly remembered his twin cousins, Jovan and Maelle.

He quickly asked the 18 children, "Where are your uncle and aunt?"

Amelia replied, "Grandpa and Grandma don't like having too many bodyguards around, so they arranged our uncle and aunt to be in different classes."

Just as she was speaking, Evander and Lyra walked out of a classroom one after another.

Upon seeing Alexander, they complained, "Alexander, the food here is terrible. Only two dishes and a soup, and you can hardly find any meat in the main course. The vegetarian dishes are too salty. How can the children eat?"

"I already knew. I was just dealing with it in the kitchen!" Alexander said.

The children pouted and complained, "Grandpa, Grandma, you don't know. That chef is so bad. He used the money from the kindergarten to buy beef, cooked it, and put it in his own bag to take home. We and our brothers and sisters didn't have any food, and he didn't care!"

"In that case, you haven't eaten yet?" Lyra said with great concern. "There's a restaurant outside. I'll take you there."

"Let's go together with uncle and aunt." Amelia suggested.

Jovan and Maelle were indeed hungry, so they naturally didn't refuse.

Ivy thought about the other children and teachers who hadn't eaten well, so she went straight to the principal's office.

She picked up the microphone and said, "Attention to all teachers of every class, because today's food wasn't prepared properly, the head chef has been dismissed. Now, I'll provide an extra meal for all teachers and students. Please lead the children to the restaurant near the school gate and line up for food. I'll personally cover all the expenses! One class per restaurant, please don't choose the same one to avoid overcrowding. Order whatever you want, chicken legs, chicken wings, hamburgers, milk tea, rice, noodles, pork ribs, beef, everything is available. Let the children eat whatever they want, but ensure their safety while dining, and don't neglect any details!"

Crazy screams echoed throughout the entire school.

...

After finishing their meal with the children, Evander, Lyra, and the bodyguards escorted them back to school, while Alexander and Ivy quickly dealt with Annabel's matter.

The two discussed a plan of action and acted separately.

In the conversation, Beckett revealed Annabel's inner choice, attempting to convince him to step back voluntarily.

Meanwhile, Ivy went to find Richard and informed him that Annabel had chosen him, urging him to persevere and not let Annabel down.

On Ivy's end, things went smoothly. Richard learned of Annabel's choice and was extremely excited and thrilled. He expressed his determination to never give up on this relationship.

But on Alexander's side, things became a bit troublesome.

No matter what Alexander said, Beckett was unwilling to give up on Annabel. He harshly criticized Alexander and Ivy, as descendants of the Ashford family, for always going against the family's interests.

Beckett even said something that left Alexander speechless.

"I thought you and your wife revived us to pay respects and reunite me with your grandmother. But I never expected that you revived me just to torment me! If you don't want me to be with my grandmother, why bother resurrecting me?"

After hearing these words, Alexander felt uneasy. He shared every word with Ivy and then used his busy schedule as an excuse to go to the company.

He couldn't help Beckett, which made Ivy unhappy. Helping Richard would displease his biological grandfather, and even his parents, uncle, and aunt wouldn't be happy.

He had no way to be involved in this matter!

Knowing Alexander's predicament, Ivy no longer insisted.

But now, Richard and Annabel had made up their minds to be together, and she had to help them no matter what.

After all, it was because of her that the seven members of the Ashford family were revived. Without her, none of this would have happened.

Ivy thought about talking to Beckett herself but was worried that it might make things worse.

Suddenly, she thought of Samantha. Samantha was an eloquent old lady, and Ivy had a good idea. Why not let Samantha persuade Beckett?

After returning home, Ivy explained the situation to Samantha, who immediately agreed.

She even confidently said, "Ivy, you've found the right person by coming to me. I'm a skilled negotiator. Back in the village, whenever someone needed to sell a pig, they called me to negotiate the price. Once I got involved, there was nothing that couldn't be settled!"
