Chapter 608: Baby is Hungry, Wants to Eat Rice

The Oldie family members were very worried about Ivy's safety and wanted to go and see the situation for themselves. However, they didn't even have time to say a word of thanks before the driver drove the car away. The Oldie family had no choice but to kneel on the ground, continuously kowtowing towards the receding taillights.

At the Ashford family mansion, it was evening. The chefs had already started preparing dinner. The twelve little buns were still not awake. Blake and his eight brothers were guarding them closely. Maria, on the other hand, had spent the afternoon playing with the six little girls at the playground behind the mansion. After they returned, the housekeepers took the maids to take a bath while Maria went to check on the little buns.

"Hmm, still not awake?" Maria exclaimed.

"No, they already look like three-year-olds!" Blake smirked and took the opportunity to playfully kiss Maria on the cheek when no one was paying attention.

William knew exactly what had happened but pretended not to, deliberately asking loudly, "What was that sound just now?"

Oliver said, "There was no sound!"

William smirked and said, "Impossible, I heard a 'smack,' as if someone had pulled the cork off a bottle!"

Maria blushed and walked towards the kitchen upon hearing this.

"Are you itching for a fight?" Blake raised his hand, pretending to want to hit William.

"Heh heh, I just have an itchy mouth!" William shamelessly said, "I also want to 'smack' someone."

"What did you say?" Blake's palm came flying like the wind.

William sighed nonchalantly, "What a pity, I don't know where my other half is..."

Blake's palm stopped in time, and he sympathetically said, "Don't worry, you will soon have one. Luna didn't say she would find each of you a bride within a month?"

"Yeah, there are still 29 days left," William rubbed his hands together.

Needless to say, for the next 29 days, he would play the role of a countdown timer.

In the kitchen, Maria watched the chefs cooking while murmuring to herself, "These twelve little ones sure can sleep, looks like they'll sleep until tomorrow morning, just like yesterday."

"Really?" the head chef was ecstatic, "Then we don't have to prepare dozens of tables of food for dinner, just two tables will be enough."

Upon hearing this, all the chefs became excited and involuntarily slowed down their cooking speed. The chef peeling potatoes hummed a song while peeling. The one peeling garlic did it slowly and meticulously. The one shelling soybeans started watching a short video, chuckling while shelling. Maria casually chewed on a few peanuts, no one was in a hurry.

Five minutes later.

"Aunt Flow!"

"Aunt Flow!"

"Aunt Flow!"

"Aunt Flow!"

"Aunt Flow..."

Twelve voices of "Aunt Flow" rang out in succession, and Maria was instantly petrified. The twelve cute little bundles were sitting on each other's shoulders and imitating their father's hilarious expressions.
Blue patterned snakes, with each expression more adorable than the last.

"Look for, look for, look for food, found a pile of delicious food. Say hello and wash your hands, everyone let's eat delicious food together..."
The blue patterned snake sang a nursery rhyme, carrying 12 little buns, swaying its head and wobbling its way to the kitchen.

"Oh... you... how did you wake up?"
Maria panicked, as once these 12 little ones were awake, they would all need dinner.
At least enough for ten tables!
The head chef, upon seeing the 12 children, dropped his knife in a hurry!
"Quick, quick, quick... hurry and cook, add ten tables!"
"Auntie, baby's tummy is hungry!" one of the little adorable buns patted its belly and said.
"We're hungry too, we want to eat!" the other 11 little ones chimed in together.
"Eat?"

Maria lifted the lid of the rice cooker, luckily, there was just cooked rice inside.
She brought out 12 small bowls, "Just wait, Auntie will serve you rice!"
