Chapter 009

HANNAH

"I've never—" My voice trailed off, too embarrassed to admit that no guy had kissed me before Cade did, let alone three. "I think I'm comfortable. Yes."

Almost immediately after I answered, I felt the room tense up. Or that was me.

Jace was the first to react. He pushed toward me so quickly and pressed his lips to mine with a low groan. One hand tightly tangled in my hair as he deepened the kiss, and the other held me mercilessly to him.

Cold chills sizzled against my skin in contrast to the hot and demanding heat pulling me from the inside.

When he finally lifted his head, his expression was intense, like he was searching for answers on my face. "You have such an effect on me."

My eyes fell on the bulge nearly pushing through his shorts, and I swallowed. He took my hands and slowly made me wrap them against his hardness.

At that moment, Chase, who was standing behind me, started to plant kisses on my back. Then his lips trailed to my neck, his breath hot and heavy.

While I rubbed Jace's cock, he slowly caressed my breast. I closed my eyes, allowing myself to drown in the pleasure. When I opened them, Cade was staring, a small smile on his face. And then I realized he was letting his brothers have their turn.

Chase switched places with Jace. Before I knew it, his mouth closed over mine, and he pulled me to my feet. Behind me, Jace's hands caressed my ass and my thighs. And I was so lost in the pleasure.

Chase's tongue found mine, plunging into my mouth while his hands roamed my body freely. Then, he began to undo my buttons breathlessly. Was I really about to have sex with the three boys I met hours ago?

Even though there was a reasonably perfect reason in my brain that would convince me to stop them, I couldn't bring myself to bother seeking it out. Or I didn't want to. My entire senses were lost to them, and pleasure burned through me.

Jace was in the process of getting me out of my jeans when a shrill sound pierced through the air. It took a moment for me to realize that my phone was ringing. Chase didn't seem to care and continued to kiss me.

I tried to do the same, but the phone wouldn't stop ringing. I quickly detangled myself from them and rushed to my bag. I heard Chase groaning as I dug through my bag for my phone.

There was only one person who could be calling me.

"Hello, Mom," I said as I picked up the call.

"Where are you, Hannah?" Before I could even answer the question, she continued, "You need to come home. Now!"

"Mum, I'll be coming home soon," I answered immediately.

"Soon?" I could picture her screaming into the phone with a hand on her waist. "What are you doing?"

"I'm on my way home, mum."

"Five minutes!"

She hung up on me, and I returned my phone in my bag. I fixed my clothes and turned to the triplets. They didn't look particularly pleased by what I was about to say.

"My mom's worried, and she wants me to come home now." My words were met with annoyed faces. "She doesn't like me to stay out since my dad was, um, kicked out of the pack," I added.

"Going home now is really unsafe for you, especially considering what happened with Asher. I know he has a hold on you because of his father, and I'm sure his father already knows what happened in school today." Chase said, rubbing his nose with worry.

"True. And they might come for you. The only way you can be safe is if you stay with us. Stay here, and we'll sort out those issues later." Cade added, agreeing with what his brother had said.

"I can't leave my mother alone. Even if they're going to come after me, I'd rather be sure that she is safe. They would take her if they don't find me." I argued.

Jace raised his eyebrows in annoyance. "Your mother will be safe," Unfortunately, he wasn't Alpha Dawson or Asher. He didn't know how cruel both of them could be and the brutality my family had endured.

"I'm going home. Asher might hurt my mother, and I won't forgive myself if anything happens to her." I picked up my bag and glanced at their faces with a look of finality.

They must have seen that it was pointless to keep arguing because they relented and had a quiet conversation amongst themselves.

As annoying as that looked, I knew they were trying to come up with ideas that would suit everyone. After a minute, they turned back to me, and Cade nodded.

"Fine. We would let you go, but not alone. Since we unfortunately can not go with you, we will send you home with bodyguards instead. They would protect you and your mom."

"Oh, that's not necessary, really." I blurted. "We would be fine. I'm sure they aren't even looking for me and mom's just worried I am not home yet."

Jace's eyes raked my body down to my toes, and I felt naked before him. I could tell he was slightly irritated by my response.

"We insist." He said, leaning closer, "That's the only way we're going to let you leave here."

There really was no point in arguing and I could see they had made up their mind, just like I did.

"Fine," I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure Alpha Dawson will be delighted to have bodyguards from this pack stalking my house. He's so welcoming and friendly, and he might even invite them for dinner."

"You certainly know how to make a joke," Chase remarked with a serious tone. "But you're leaving with those bodyguards, or we will continue what we started before your mother interrupted."

My face flushed with embarrassment as I remembered the taste of his lips. Hastily, I walked toward the door with my bag. "I'll go with the bodyguards."

Cade made a quick call to the head of security and instructed him to assign four bodyguards to me. There was always a noticeable difference in the way he spoke to others compared to the way he spoke to me.

"They are waiting. Let's go," He muttered after the call, although he looked less happy as each second passed.

They led me to the garage and like they said, four bodyguards were waiting already. They looked stern and professional as Cade instructed them on what to do with me.

"Text me when you get home," Cade instructed, and I nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow in school."

I waved them goodbye as the car slowly exited the garage, and we left for my house. I sighed, feeling excited and sad at the same time.

Throughout the drive home, I reflected on how my life completely changed in one day and what it could mean for me.

I had three mates, sure. But would my suffering end? That would depend on how far Asher and his father would go.

Knowing them, my situation would turn into a power play. And the winner would be whoever wanted me more, whether for good or bad.
