“well out with it already old man.” I spit out. Watching him pace the room. “well I had a theory but this new turn of events changes things a little. So you two” he points between Ty and me. “were spelled from almost the second you arrived at the winter right?” we both nod “and you stayed that way until about a month away from the end of the contract?” again we nod “what did it feel like the whole time?” thinking it over for a few minutes before I answer “well I don’t know about Ty but it felt like odd like I only had loyalty to the winters pack. If one of them told me to do something I was fast to do it. Inside I was mad as hell. I am an alpha, not someone's servant but I was treated as one. I couldn’t say no.” I tell him. “ya I couldn’t say no no matter what or how hard I tried.” Ambrose just nods as both Ty and myself go over everything with him again.
“so my theory is that the witches that the winters are in bed with are somehow harnessing the magic and god/goddess skills and gifts for themself. They were only able to have limited access to the magic of the gods and goddesses. So they siphon the ability's from the winters wolves. Increasing their abilities and control. When the winter twins were born they took this as an opportunity to have full access to the winter's gifts.” he says as he walks around the room. With a wave of his hand, a table full of snacks and drinks appears. Taking a steaming mug off the table he takes a long sip.
“so then when it comes time to leave the winters service they immune the leaving wolves with the knowledge the winters wolves have collected over the years been stripped of. They then use the magic to imprint the knowledge on everyone. So your knowledge in business is due to the winters having had a god or goddess in the line good with business. Now for young Philip here he got a stronger and deeper knowledge as there have been at least two Apollo's born in the winters. Apollo is the god of medicine among other things.” picking up a purple ball off the table.
Looking at Ty with wide eyes as what he is saying does make sense but what does that have to do with the princess. She's a virgin goddess of the moon and hunt. That’s when it hits me Selene and Artemis are very close. Both being a goddess of the moon they help each other and are close. Being a moon goddess that's close to our goddess means what I don’t know but one thing is for sure I still am in the dark about everything.

The future rests on you two.” not wanting to argue with me he misted out of the room leaving us sitting around shocked and dazed.
“what? Is he for real?” Kavin asks looking just as stunned as I feel. Before I could answer Ty shoots from the chair he was sitting in and rushes out of the office. Leaving us staring at the now swinging door. Trying to link Ty but it's blocked. Standing to follow his scent to see what has him rushing the phone rings.
“alpha Philip Samuels.” I answer “oh good I was hoping to catch you Phil. I need your help son.” my uncle Derek former alpha of the raging river pack rushes out. “what's the issue uncle?” with a heavy sigh he answers.
“as you know when the twins took over the pack I went traveling for a little while as I know your father has done.” pain shoots through me at the mention of my father. Then I remember I had not informed anyone that my father is gone. Taking a deep breath I make a sound so he continues with what he has to say.
“I returned to the pack late last night. I had not seen any of the pack upon my arrival I thought it odd but nothing seemed off. That was until this morning when I overheard the twins talking in the office. They were on the phone with someone they called Jacob. Anyway, why I am calling is this Jacob ordered the twins to visit you bringing a team with them. full of witches from his coven. I have no idea what is going on or why my kids are not acting like themselves. I need your help.” the raging rivers pack has always had a set of twins as the alpha's first birth. The last two times it's been a male and female set of twins my mother is the daughter of former alpha derrick's twin sister. After a few more minutes of talking I tell my uncle, it would be best he comes here and stays as things are a little twilight zone in the world right now, the winters and whites have gotten their claws in the raging river pack. It's one thing to mess with me but a whole other thing to mess with family.
Ten minutes of planning how to get my uncle to the pack when he poofs in front of me with a very winded Ambrose. “Philip something is shifting oddly. Wolves not on your land seem to be falling under something. Many alphas are sending their warriors to the winter's castle. Only Derek here is not falling over himself to get to the winters.
