I feel alone lately. Everyone is finding their mates I mean hell my brother found his mate. I knew going on that mission for uncle pill would have consequences but watching everyone mate around me and having no one to go home to was lonely. I have started sleeping in the delta suite giving Eris and Trevor space. Eris told me she would find a new room or suite but I laughed. This was her childhood room no way I’m forcing her out. Besides down there okay one floor down, I don’t feel so alone while alone.
I had started growing flowers to distract me and they needed some more grow juice. What is grow juice? No clue but it helps the plants grow. Filling a pitcher listening to my “don’t feel lonely” playlist loud I didn’t want to talk to anyone. When a pot fell I went to see why. Thinking a pup got in here as the new litter is about four months old and in trouble.
What I didn’t need no want no deserve to see was my brother pounding into dean’s ass. Both red-faced and sweaty. Screaming in fright I tossed the pitcher and ran. My headphones caught on the door pulling out of my ears and phone. No, oh well I can buy new ones.
Tearing out of the greenhouse through the backdoor. He knows I have been sleeping in the delta suite. Eris and Trevor went on a horseback ride. She's showing him the property. So their room is free.
Braking through the door I run through the alpha suite. “you didn’t see me I’m not here. Never seen me.” Raising down the hall. Through Eris's open door sliding under her bed. In my panic, I didn’t notice Kai at first. When Kaleb started grumbling I stuck my head out just in time to hear him yell “BITCH!” down the hall. “well if you two stayed in your room and not the greenhouse.” I yell back just to hear Enoy giggle and stinky exclaim. “dude where the fuck have you been.”
Crawling down the hall I see Kai laughing. Shrugging I walk out to get glares from stinky. Smirking I scoop Hades up out of Kai's arms. “come on little man let’s give mom and dad some much-needed alone time. Come on Kal I think it’s time we start talking about moving down to the delta suite.” Grabbing everything I need to keep Hades overnight. “come on beast mama will find you downstairs.” Kal scoops up Cerby.
“We are so not done talking about this.” He sneers out. A wave of my hand had Enoy winking at me.
We barely made it through the door when max linked. “hey ros can you come here for a moment?” “yep be there soon.” Cutting the link. Handing the diaper bag to Kaleb. “will you take this to my room please max needs me.” Batting my lashes at him. Rolling his eyes he takes the bag heading downstairs as I turn to go upstairs. “uncle Kaleb is a big mean who needs to learn how to accept being caught if he’s gonna do things out in the open “ I heard that.” “you were meant to.” Rolling my eyes getting sweet baby giggles.
My wolf has been antsy all day that’s why I was in the greenhouse. Yes, my flowers needed the grow juice but I needed a distraction. Now I have the cutest distraction. Though I might be biased as this cutie is my cousin.
Walking through the door I see a group of girls standing in the entryway giggling. “what are you hyenas up to?” I ask. Yelping in fright spinning. Their faces went from fright to joy. “baby Hades!” they squeal rushing over to give him hugs and kisses. If you thought packs just listen to and give complete loyalty to any alpha that is where you are wrong. The strongest packs are those that have a long line of alphas from one bloodline.
Alphas are born and raised by the pack. Hades will grow up in a pack that has known him since birth. Help raise him with the values his family and the blacks set at the start. Watching him help him grow into the alpha the pack needs and wants. So how do so many packs go downhill? That’s easy greed. A lot of packs are run by greedy men. “Okay girls beta max needs me. And don’t you all have ridding lessons with Eris right about now?” “What?” they all scream frantically looking for a clock. Hades giggled at the commotion as they run out of the house in the direction of the stables. Shaking my head laughing. “that will never get old. Remember auntie Riri is a big scary instructor. Well for everyone but you. You got that woman wrapped around your teenie tiny to…..” stopping just outside the office door frozen. Sniffing the air. Moon lilies? No that’s crazy well I mean Kai kinda smelled a little like moon lilies now that I think about it. Impossible. First, it’s just a month from spring so not in bloom. Second, it’s too hot here to grow them. I have been asking Ambrose to create a perfume with its scent. No winners yet. But I swear I smell moon lilies. They have been my favorite since I first read about them. Kaleb, Enoy, and Eris spent months arranging to have one sent here for my twelfth birthday. To this day in my garden, I have that plant in its own temperature-controlled area.
Max links “I can smell you” rolling my eyes breaking me from my state I opened the door. The rush of moon lilies washing over me took my breath away. And break from the moment with a death growl. All too fast max is in front of me pushing me back out the door.
“MMMMMIIIIIIINNNNNEEEEEEE!” fills the room the hall hell even the house. Hades slapped my face giggling. Max growls back. “STOP!” I scream my voice sounding louder and stronger then before. Max turns slowly looking at me confused. The other guy stares jaw dropped eyes wide. “ros? Was that you?”
