Looking back at Allie. “what's wrong, sweetheart?” staring at me wide-eyed she stares a tear makes it was down her cheek. I wipe it away with my thumb. This seems to bring her out of whatever state she was in “do you mean that?” looking at her I bring both my hands to her cheeks holding her face. I want her to see that I am completely being honest with her “I mean every word of that Allie. I will never force you to do anything and I will never keep anything from you.” I watch her search my eyes looking into my soul seeing what it is she's looking for. I know she's found it when a soft smile spreads across her face and a pink color paints her cheeks. “you have a pack to meet with alpha” she said causing a small growl to leave my lips making her giggle telling me it was her plan. ; Oh, there is a little devil in her. I smirk down at her lean down nip her lower lip and pull back heading back towards the stairs. “coming?” I holler over my shoulder.
I hear her grumble behind me as her step starts back up. I have a feeling I will be paying for that later. Like I said I won't force her to do anything I never said I would make it easy for her to say no. If she feels the pull anything like I do then I know saying no has to be killing her. So my teasing is going to get me in trouble. A shiver of anticipation runs up my spine. A low growl leave me at the thought. Looking around hoping no one caught it. Stopping waiting for Allie to catch up when she does she slips her hand in mine I look down at her and smile at her slightly pink face. She smiles back at me. My heart skips a beat at the sight. Breath I remind myself. “okay” she whispers out “okay?” I question “okay you can mark me” and I stumbled barely catching myself before I face-planted. Whipping around to look at her. She's trying so hard to hold in her laugh “what did you say?” I stare at her wide-eyed as she composes herself squares her shoulders walks close places her finger on my chest. Looking down at it she then moves it up slowly. When she stops moving her finger at me that dip at my collar bone and neck. I looked back at her “I said you can mark me” and she walks past me. Leaving me in the hall processing and trying to get a hold of myself. All I want to do now is grab her and run back to the room. A cold shower. I need a fucking cold shower. I link wade for a big glass of ice water.
Once wade comes with it I head to one of the floor bathrooms and dump it over my head in the shower. I didn’t want to have to go get dry clothes and this was the best option. This didn’t fully help with the increased heat in my blood but it was enough I could function. after dressing, I head back out to find wade waiting “do I want to ask?” shaking my head he smirks at me “so the Luna already showing you who really, runs things?” I nod “and she doesn't even know it yet,” I tell him and we both laugh. “after you make her Luna amber will have her well trained on that in a week I’m sure.” thinking about that I remember Kim has been acting Luna for years now. I link her making sure she's going to be at the meeting and tell her I would like her to be at the front of the room so I can talk to her. When she replied right away that she planned to be there and will be upfront. I know that she will be happy I have a second chance but I also know she's good at being a Luna I don’t know if she will be wanting to give that up but Allie is the Luna, not Kim.
Walking hand in hand with Allie I see Kim she had a huge smile on her face when she sees me then when she saw Allie her already huge smile got even bigger if possible. She looked to be dancing in her chair. The whole pack seemed to shine when they saw my happiness rolling off of them as they see their alpha. Clearing my throat. They all look to me “alpha” I hear as heads. “oh come on when have I been about that?” I ask waving my hand at them. Getting a chuckle from them all. “but I do want you all to meet my mate and your Luna Allison Clark” I say pulling her forward the cheers are deafening. I am smiling so big at the pack welcoming their Luna. I can see how red her ears are. She's gonna kill me. Once things die down I clear my throat before I start again “ so I take it we all accept Allison as our Luna?” the pack in unison “yes alpha” “then let's welcome her to the pack and appoint her as Luna right here right now.” turning to Allie taking her hand in mine looking her in the eyes. I hear the door open and I know that john and amber as I linked them when I was in the shower about getting the chalice and dagger from my office. They were a gift from the goddess to our ancestors when they started the pack on this very land all those years ago. Every new member has joined through this set. The transfer of leadership is done through this set. Nothing of importance done with the pack is done with this set. That includes blood-bound oaths from other packs a pack that packs do not enter in lightly, especially with our pack. Our pack set is blessed by the goddess herself so our blood bonds made with it are unbreakable even by the strongest witches.
