Making it to the front door before Ambrose disappears. The fact there was no mist makes me think that he makes that happen when he arrives. Dramatic entrance it would check. Opening my link to ask Ty if he got everyone in the office when nothing happens. Odd. Walking in there are several wolves laying on the ground. Taking two steps in and they start to groan and moan and Ambrose reappeared. “what was that old man?” “your guess is as good as mine. I was thrown back to the border and then I couldn’t mist back for a second. I was stuck at the border.” he mumbles as he starts walking around. He starts humming and looking at the wolves as they start to get up. “can you see this?” he points to a young she-wolf with her back to me. Looking over then back at him raising my brow “um do I see Emily? I have not gone blind old man.” Emily yelping in surprise as she spins around bowing her head “oh I’m sorry alpha I didn’t see you” “turn back around, child” Ambrose snaps spinning her around, cutting her off. “I apologize Emily I have no idea what has come over Ambrose. Ambrose what the hell man you can not just manhandle the she-wolves or any wolves for that matter.” I snap at him but he's waving me off like I have said nothing. Pulling the sleeve of her tank top to the side exposing her shoulder he pokes her shoulder “dude what” “do you see this? Right here where I’m pointing.” Ambrose's eyes shoot to mine. “no”
“you young man come here” he orders a wolf about thirteen. Jumping in shock and a bit of fear at the crazy witch yanking and pulling others around. He looks at me and I nod. Coming over Ambrose reaches out for him but I stop his arm mid-reach. “what do you need?” “his right shoulder,” he says not looking at me but at harry. “hey lift your shirt and show him your shoulder” I sigh out a little annoyed as to why we are harassing young wolves. “hmm odd you girl how old are you?” “she has a name and why?” “she's marked but I have never seen the mark before. I cant feel magic in her but if you can't see the mark they're magic. So again how old are you and how far along are you?” her cheeks flush bright. I can almost taste the uneasy feeling in her. “Ambrose that's enough. I a sorry Emily please take the rest of the day off. Take harry with you and go to lunch with me. Like I said I have never seen the symbol before. I may need to send Fabel on a journey.” all of a sudden Kavin burst through the door to the lower floors “Phil we have a problem. Ethan smith just went missing and all of us in the smith suite were knocked out well other than Reena. I sent them to my suite but why are several bonds broken. Dude something is going on. We have to find Ethan Reena is beside herself with worry.” a very panicked Kavin spills the moment he sees me. “will what the fuck just happened?” Ty demands as he comes flying down the stairs from the office. Holding my hands up getting everyone to stop I point to the office. As we head up the stairs hunter and Will come through the front door from the field. “what the fuck just happened to everyone and why are four of the new recruits missing.” will barks out. As we just opened up training early for wolves who plan to specialize in one of the warriors, soldier, fields. Will has been heading up that class as it was his idea a project he wished he had when he was younger. He had begged my father to let him train early but my father always told him to start with self-defense and strategy for now so when you need to train his mind is already sharp.
This year I gave will the green light for a test run to see how it goes and he takes his job seriously. So having a few of the young wolves go missing from his class is a big deal. These pups are all of about ten being the youngest to fifteen. Will only allowed Travis in at ten as his father is one of the top warriors and Travis has been to every training session due to his mother passing at his birth. So Travis in a way has been training since birth. Looking over their shoulder at the class following behind I see Travis and I relax a little. As he passes I notice a mark on his back “hey Travis how did you get that?” he looks down and over his shoulder like he could see his back. Spinning a few times before he looks back at me “get what alpha?” he barely got the words out of his mouth before Ambrose is poking at his back. “odd it's close but different and you can see this one. Wonder why?” “Hey hey, what's it doing?” I say pointing at the kid back as the mark disappears “what do you mean son?” “well, it's gone the mark isn't there anymore so what does that mean?” “how odd the mark is still here I see it just fine oh shit. How many pups did you say would be taken?” “I didn’t but it was five males ten she-wolves and twenty infants why?”
He starts ticking with his finger like he's adding. “how many are missing right now?” “well if we could make it to the office we can do a sweep and find out old man why?” hunter sneers out. Snapping all our eyes to him. Just as I was about to say something he decked will before he was sent flying out the door hitting the ground hard. “I would lock him away if I were you something is wrong”
