Over the next few days, Loki helped me find his old things stored in one of the lower-floor storage rooms. Why he had so many female clothes in his things is questionable. If they had been all the same style and size I would wonder if they were his. But now I wonder if they belonged to his many he’d mates.
When the time came he talked me through casting an age spell so my id and any magic would say I’m old enough. He also gave me access to his large bank account to pay any fee to get in. A debt I will pay back as soon as I can. So when Friday came along I got dressed in skin-tight leather pants, black shiny stiletto heels, and a very revealing leather and chain barely there top.
The makeup took forever even with his talking me through it all. Once done I snuck down to the garage. Made sure that Calvin will be taking the black SUV. Climbing in the back and under the emergency blanket. Now to wait for them to come down. Just when I thought they might have changed their minds the doors opened. “you sure this is cool cal? She didn’t want to go back to the blood moon pack so stayed here with the blessing of former alpha Apollo and Luna shay.” “my dad has stories of how the pack once was. I know she’s weak and small but I kinda hope alpha Athena can fix what they broke.” “I don’t know mother said she heard the council talking about challenging her for the title. The car got quiet for a while while we all think over what was being said. “guess it wasn’t too sucky to get stuck at the council meetings now huh?” Calvin chuckles. “I won’t complain about an assignment again.” “I wouldn’t go that far. I think being alpha Athena’s personal guard would suck. You’d have to fight all her fight.” I wanted to growl out and put them in their place. But sadly they are right for now. First I’m gonna check out this club and find out who owns it. If it’s a wolf I will find out why taxes have not been paid for this club. Then Loki will be teaching me magic. I may not be a big wolf or a strong wolf but I am smart enough to know I need something in my back pocket. Also looks like Clint and Ryan green need a change of assignments. I will be calling the former council members to my office and dismissing the council and if they don’t like it there is the door or the dungeons. I am done with not being respected. I know this was never meant for me to hear but I have and I won’t forget it.
I want Loki to help me make more of the melt-your-face-off vials. I wonder what else he knows for both offensive and defensive potions. And just for shits and giggles, these two will be my new personal guard. They will be tasked to create a team for my personal guard. Let’s see how weak I look starting tomorrow or tonight.
The SUV finally comes to a stop and the engine is cut. “are you sure this is the place it looks like a warehouse?” “Trust me I come here at least three times a month thank goodness I haven’t found my mate yet. Popping the hood I take the distributor cap off. Thank you, Loki for this tip. Rushing back to the back of the SUV I stash the cap. Taking the spare key I hit the lock button. And head for the plain gray steel door where a giant of a wolf is standing. this guy looks like a mountain. getting closer I notice he doesn't smell like a wolf he smells more feline. is that a lion? he has a golden glow to his tan skin. his copper hair is cut close to his scalp. several tattoos are poking out from the cuffs and collar of his black jacket.
