“Hey man your cousins here.” “Which one?” I chuckle “Athena” “what? Where I’ll send someone to play with her.” “Naw man I got it. Any objections?” “Nope. Have fun.” Laughing as I cut the link with Tul. “Ouch. Bitch. Who taught you to suck dick?” Pushing the girl off me. “you” pointing to the girl on the bed. “Teach her. I assume you remember last time?” She nods scurrying off the bed.
Walking over to the dresser grabbing my phone. Looking through my contacts. There it is. Hitting send and wait for my uncle to answer the phone. “Hades my boy what can I do for you?” “Uncle Kal are any of the guys in your team working security at the puppy mill right now?” watching the girls make sure that human from a few months ago is showing the new girl what to do. “I think Sophie-Anne is on duty why?” “I need Tul's feed saved and emailed to me just tonight’s.” “why? You know the rules you can only save your own play if that’s your desire.” “I know but she’s here and Tulok is gonna entertain her for the night. I just want to make sure she’s well taken care of.” I Snickers as I nod at the girls.
“Are you sure once it’s done you can’t undo it?” “I think we are past that don’t you.” “yep just making sure. Does your mother know?” “you were my first call. I’m a little busy right now. Walking back out I see timber laying on the bed. “what do you want?” “I heard you were here. Looking very lick-able there Hades.” “not in the mood timber. What do you want?” “I heard a rumor you still had not found your mate so was coming to test the waters.” “thank goddess your not or I’d be breaking a long unbroken chain. Or when was the last time Eria has come to visit maybe it’s been too long since a family dinner?” smirking at her widening eyes.
“what? It’s my day off. You wouldn’t she’s still mad I can feel it please don’t.” “then tell me what you want.” “I just came to let soph that a few Winters boys were heading this way. She scrambles off the bed and out of my room. Foundlings are such pains in the asses. Timber is a magic-less witch raised by Eria a wood nymph that lives in a small grove on our land. That was until timber let one of the Winters men into the way station. So now she works for mom as a spy. She can’t be detected by magic. But if she ever steps on my mom’s toes wrong she goes right back to the grove. Magic might not affect timber but my mom and my aunt do.
Slipping my blood-red leather mask on and walk out heading to the bar. My sense dulls the moment I step out of my room. Rolling my shoulder feeling the discomfort from being cut off from my flame-bird. My bond to Cerberus is still there so that keeps me grounded. My body always feels clumsy for a few minutes.
Siding up to the bar, a glass is set in front of me. Nodding to Jimmy. “saw Tulok catch a little filly earlier. If I was into girls I would be jealous. He should have a real good time though.” He chuckles. Raising my brow “why?” “she was nervous so I slipped her a little honey brimstone blossom wine.” “you didn’t?” “on the house?” “Please tell me she said thank you?” he grins and his pupils shift. Never say thank you to a fae and never accept a free drink here. She wasn’t invited.
“oh, how I wish I was a fly on that wall.” Jimmy huffs out. Nodding as I grin at him. I get to be a fly on that wall. “wait did she drink it?” “every drop.” I can’t stop laughing so hard my sides started to cramp up. “why do I get the feeling you are enjoying the big guy's good luck.” “my friend you have no idea. How much for that favor she owes you?” confused he asks me why. Smiling “does it matter it’s not like you were trying to get a favor from her. Taking his hand I feel a tickle and a slight but. Settling around my thumb is the face letters for Athena winters. Nodding we break hands. “I would have never guest.” “and it will never leave your lips.” Filling my words with my command. I may not have my magic in here but that does not mean I don’t have magic. As long as no one asks him directly who the rogue king is before his shift is over the second he steps out of the ward my command will be set. He can’t lie but he can avoid the answer until his last breath. He felt the weight shift slightly knowing what I did he relaxed and bobbed his thanks. He will never say thank you.
