Looking around the room he starts laughing. “Okay okay hold your horses cowboy Joe. But first, is the hound small or large? Cause I know that is a gorgolo spider. Female at that so she's a spy with a bite. Her venom could melt your skin off. Do you think I could get a sample sweet girl it could be a great ingredient in a few spells? Not had a chance to interact with one before.” he asked my now frozen speechless daughter. “is she a broken young alpha?” he ask looking back at me. “Eris what is wrong?” I ask making my way to her. “he's red and black with is that horns dad he has horns.” Ambrose states laughing so hard. “yes yes she has the sight she is special is the other just as special. Oh hold on ill be back.” with that he's gone. Eris rushes to me “dad who was that are you okay why was he speaking like he knows me and you and why did he act like he knew Matilda? What did he mean she a blblblblyaya what ever he said spider. She's not venomous is she shes never hurt a soul dad answer me now?” she stomps her foot like a child. I can't blame her if I had the freedom to stomp my feet and demand answers I would do the same.
Before I could answer Ambrose is back or I think it's Ambrose. The mist and scent say Ambrose but the guy in front of me looks nothing like the man I know. This guy is close to my size just not as filled out. With dark brown hair and melted chocolate eyes. If he didn’t smell like Ambrose I would have attacked. “how about now dear one what do you see?” “what the actual father what just happened? Dude you smell and sound but the” she's waving her arms around looking around at an equally shocked and speechless room. Tilting our heads sniffing confused. “child what do you see tell me?” the not Ambrose, Ambrose says “well you look like every douche bag on every soap opera the grannies watch but sound like the creepy guy so could you please explain cause you are making me angry now.” with that Eris squares her shoulders her eyes start to glow and the room starts to feel smaller. The walls closed in on me. The room starts to spin as my mind fogs over. the feelings I have held bottled up starting to surface.
My vision starts to take on a red hue as the feelings of hostility start to fill me all aimed at Ambrose. Before I can say a thing he claps his hands and the feels vanish. Shaking my head I look around seeing everyone doing the same. Eris is frozen in place as is Matilda. “what?” “oh this one is amazing is the other just as wonderful? Do they share any of the same power?” Ambrose says looking at me with hope “and as she started to share her life force and gifts with her familiar what about the other? Oh, can see clone herself yet?” “um, could you unfreeze my daughter and explain what the actual fuck you are talking about old man? And this time make fucking sense you are giving me a head act.” “so bossy okay okay young Philip I will do as you ask but I am binding her gifts for now. I need to see her master for controlling her gifts. Where is Marge? I sent her here before I went to sleep?” “who is Marge?” whipping his head to me before taking a big whiff of the air. His eyes go to slits as he looks around and poofs gone again. Eris fell forward as she was in mid-step when she was frozen.

Even Michelle looks bored. What the hell. “okay mish and see what is going on?” I ask “ya chelle the pups cant stub a toe without you worrying and here you are acting as if nothing happened.” Ty huffs out “I don’t know what you mean nothing did happen. Y’all has been standing around talking to Ambrose he's popped in and out a couple of times but nothing out of the ordinary.” Reena shrugs in agreement with Michelle. Shaking my head. “okay I know I called you all here to talk about Eos coming to the party and Apollo and shay won't be coming. They don’t see a threat here and they believe I adopted pups like my grandfather did.” looking around the room all eyes on me all with levels of disgust. “wait so Eos doesn't know we are family then why is she coming I mean you said I had to invite her because she's the next alpha of alphas for now until she finds her mate. But why do they think I am adopted look at me I have golden eyes I look like my mother only the printer ran out of ink with Enoy.” Eris rattles off. This may be a problem with my plan.
“that sweet baby girl is why I had called this meeting. Apollo thought your mother could only have one pup. And my line has always only been able to have three an heir and a set of twins. When I mated your mother her brother just assumed she could only have one pup. So that is why he does not believe you are related. And she coming because it's her right to come to any gathering by any pack. She's looking for her mate. The winters still believe the male mate is the next in line. so they are essentially looking for the next alpha of alphas.” with a nod she walks over to my desk taking out the list of guests. She starts making circles around the names of alpha heirs and some betas. Then she circled a few of the listed guards on the list for the heirs. “what are you doing?” I ask
“brilliant young goddess, are these the ones you feel your pull could overcome? What about this one here the silent creek pack? Only a beta coming where is the alpha heir?”
“they don’t have an alpha heir right now. Full story yet to be had but the heir had been banished from the pack and stripped of his title. So they don’t have an alpha heir the beta will be the alpha heir if and when he finds his mate.”
