Chapter 97
Talking with Edrya I found out she had started to call her pup William after me. I felt honored as he is my nephew by Allie. He will be treated like family and I will talk to Allie soon. I am hoping the fear is from past experiences. When Kyle and Amara returned with the young boy I now understood why he looked familiar. He has the same silver eyes as Philip. I wonder if that's a trait from alphas Derick's line or her father. I will have to give him a call later to let him know about Philip and William. Made sure they had everything they needed and promised that she will take William and herself to the clinic tomorrow to be looked over. I headed back to talk to Allie.
Walking into our suite I hear singing coming from the bedroom. Following the sweet sound, I found Allie singing to our son. Leaning against the door just listening to her. In the same tune, she asked me “who is he to her and what is she doing here?” “she was an omega or slave to the hill pack. The alpha use to pay your brother with her forced service. She was given an experimental drug to induce heat to have a chip to keep her brother in check. Only it didn’t work. Your brother told the alpha he could kill the boy or sell him to someone for all he cared. So the boy and his mother were banished to the basement of the packhouse so they couldn’t be stolen or escape.”
As much as I hate this the more we know about how this pack ran and who else they worked with could get me closer to finding Brent. Watching as several emoticons danced across her face. “she's just like me.” she whispers. Crossing the room as fast as I can taking her in my arms holding her as she lets the damn break. After a while she pulls herself back and looks me in the eye “I want him to be a part of our family then. What are his and his mother's names?” getting her to laugh when I tell him his name is William. We talked for a few hours about what she wanted to do with them once she was healed. Her plans of having the boys grow up together now a Luna order and she didn’t even know it. She had thrown all of herself in that want and so be it will be.
We spent the rest of the night in our room watching TV and talking. Getting settled in bed Allie pulled me to my side. Philip is in his bassinet next to the bed. Just as I was drifting off a loud wailing filled the air. This alarm went off every two hours to eat or be changed. This is not the pup we had in the clinic last night. What happened. We took turns with him all night. Allie did the feedings and I did the changing and walking. During one of the changing from so much pee, how did he have more pee in him than he weighs? I searched his whole tiny body for the switch. I now owe john a huge apology for all the times I gave him a hard time. They should be home today at some point with all the paperwork computers and anything else they could find. All funds we find will go to the wolves who arrived yesterday.
Putting Philip back down I head to the shower. I left the door open so I could listen for him. I feel Allie step into the shower with me. It takes all I have not to attack her. The sparks danced across my skin. The scent of her arousal was heavy lacing through the steam. Her hands slid around my waist. Putting my hands on hers to keep them from going anywhere else. “Allie” “shhhhh” then she kisses my back. I can't hold the moan back at her touch. Sliding her body against me as she moves in front of me. My fingers slide up her arm over her shoulder and down the other arm before I slip them around her waist. Kissing my chest before she looks up at me “I just wanted to shower with you nothing funny I promise.” she smirks up at me. Shaking my head I laugh before I press my lips to hers. I spent the next ten minutes washing every inch of her body. She sits on the bench as I clean myself real fast. Helping her from the shower and drying her before I get her set up in the sitting room. I brought Philip and a bag of diapers wipes a few changes of clothes, this boy can pee, and anything else Allie asked for. Amber was coming in two hours to help Allie out. Tyler and Skylar have been begging her to meet the baby.
Kissing her goodbye I head out and up to the office. Reaching the top stair I see Kyle pacing back and forth. I just watch him having a talk with himself about Edrya and William. “is that so Kyle?” I ask after he was like “ya and if you don’t like it I’m out of here?” I knew he didn’t mean it but I can see how he already cares for them. I strongly believe in the influence of Amara. Watching him jump out of his skin and scream like a slasher girl had me bent over in laughter. “what the fuck man. Are you trying to kill me?” “what's got you so worked up so early in the morning?”
“I wanted to talk to you about Edrya and William.”
“come on let's go inside.” heading to the door to my office. Inside Kyle starts packing again “well what's up with the Luna and Edrya?”
“it's a long story. If you are worried about her being welcomed here she is. Allie wants to get to know her and William. Her response yesterday is a response she and the wolves that came yesterday will have for a long while. Well, that's what Dr. Locke told me. She said to have patience with Allie so I would assume these wolves are in the same boat.” I can see his body relax in relief.
