Athena pov
Running through the dark forest trying to find a way out. Looking over my shoulder is a pair of bright red eyes chasing me. Veering to the left more red eyes up ahead. Trying to find a safe place. Somewhere away from the red eyes, they are everywhere. No set the same. The shapes and colors are all different making me think they are all different people. But who? Why are they chasing me?
The seasonal change as I run trying so hard to get away. Just a few more feet I’ll be at the border. When the scene changes and I am now chancing down, a small rust-colored, female. Snarling as I chase her down. I can’t feel pack lands close so in no man’s land. Why am I out here in rogue heaven? I lose sight of the wolf but I’m not concerned. My men are up ahead to stop her. Getting close I shift walking naked through the woods toward her fear-heavy scent. I can feel the evil smile on my face. Making it to her shoulder sag with relief. “oh Sara it’s you. Oh, my goddess Sara are you okay? How did you get free? Does the alpha know?” her voice cuts off as I grab her throat sneering at her.
“you took something from my brother. He may have forgiven you but I haven’t.” squeezing her neck watching her face go purple. “Luna Sandra, what do you want to be done with her? Breeder program?” my guard frank asks. “no I want no pups from this thing. Rip that shit out of her. Put her in the pleasure program with the only restriction is, to keep her alive. I want to see how long she lasts. As for you, it will give me great pleasure to watch you suffer the loss of your mate. But not through death. No that would be too kind. You will watch him find a new mate and take her. Each time he does you will feel every painful touch. When he has a pup you will feel another loss knowing that should have been yours. Take her before I rip her throat out here.” I spit out. “Sara please think about the pack. What about Clara?”
“Clara was weak and stupid. She could have been a Luna but no she wanted Wade. But we made a pack with father and the alphas. Let’s hope my brother can fix what you both broke.”
Turning around to walk away “frank tells John I will be back soon I’m heading to the breeder's lab to see if the new fertility drugs are ready to try” “yes Luna. Come bitch.” “oh and Frank when she’s healed from having the insides ripped out as a thank you for being so loyal she’s yours first. Everything you ever thought you wanted to do. Do it. The world starts swaying and turning. I’m staring into green eyes wide with fear and anger. A sharp stabbing in my neck was followed by a burning sensation. The green eyes turn red for a moment. Everything went black. Groaning as I start to wake up. Looking around I see a room full of people none of which I know. “my dear you are everything and more than what I was promised. Our friend Gerald will be more than happy to have waited so long.” “flattery will get you everything, alpha Felix.” A sugar-sweet voice comes from me. Looking around I see another girl smirking at me. “girls we need your help. We were told to bring your brother back but he sent the beta instead. We can’t use the same plan as before but we can improvise. Your grandfather has an idea. We said to make sure the beta sees you both abused and being man handles before we blindfold him. Then the guard and two broken whores will take your place embedding a horrible memory locked away by the big guy's spell.” “do we get ice cream after cause I’m hungry.” The other girl says. A hand lands on my lower back. “don’t worry little one they promise you will be safe. The fertility clinic has an appointment for you to start right after.” I can feel the joy flood me. “ya well I want to have a few words with grandpa so tell him to come here uncle can mist him here.” I whine crossing my arms. “I will call William while y'all put on your show. He will be here when it’s over?” “has anyone found my uncle?” the other girl sneers. “yes dear uncle has a few things to explain.” “he is with your grandfather now. If this is about your mother know nothing would have changed you know what happens to the Lunas that say no. She said no. I was there I was her trusted guard. That was the worse day for me. I loved your mother very much as did your father.” A tall she-wolf says sadness written all over her face.
Gasping I shoot up out of bed. Gasping as I try and remember how to breathe. What was all that? Has to be some kind of nightmare. There is no way any of that is true. Why did it feel so real? Once I calmed my breathing down I get out of bed. I have had enough of getting nowhere with anything. But there is one thing I can do, which is to demand answers from Gregory. Smiling while dressing, and head down to the dungeons. Why is it so hot in the castle these days? I’ll have someone look into that.
