Chapter 60

Leaving our rooms I can hear the deathly silence of the house. There is not a wolf left in the house they have all made their way to the training field. A few she-wolves with hope in their eyes. Hope for what is unclear right now. Hannah is not well-liked in the pack due to her slutty ways. She had taken to bed a few wolves in the pack and still try on occasion. Even when they are fully mated she still tries. I can't wait for this to be over once Allie wins I am banishing Hannah from the pack. I have had enough of her shit. I know I should have sent her away a long time ago but she is the niece of the woman that raised me.

In the center of the ring was Hannah, in what looked like her underwear. I am sure this type of thing would distract a male but she's challenging for the Luna title. I feel the nervousness through the bond squeezing her hand as we walk for comfort. Bringing her hand to my lips I press a kiss to her palm. Her cheeks turn a beautiful shade of pink. The sneer on Hannah's face can be seen from across the field. I can't wait to be done with her. Looking around I can't find one face that was looking on at Hannah with hate. There will be no love lost when I banish her from the pack and the lands. I will not lie for her to get into another pack but I won't slander her either.

Stopping just outside the ring made by all the wolves from the pack. Everyone has gathered for the fight. Turning to look my sweet mate in the eyes but I no longer see my sweet little mate. I see very pissed off Luna wolf. “you know I could just banish her and end it right now.” I smile at her glare. “you will do no such thing. This is my fight and I am tired of her. I am stronger than I look. Please.” the last word sounds more like she begging me to just have her back. Kissing her forehead linking her that I will always have her back. Squaring her shoulders she strips off my hoodie she stole this morning. Holding it to be raising her eyebrow. “ill want that back when I'm done.” she smirks when I smile at her.

Stepping in the ring the crowd quiets. “we all know why we are here so let's get on with it shall we?” the crowd roars. “this is to submission. Once one of you taps out it's over. The only weapons allowed are your wolves. Agreed?” “agreed,” they both say nodding I walk out of the ring. Standing next to John who puts his hand on my shoulder wade comes to my other side. They will help to keep me in place as Allie fights. I don’t want to see her hurt but I also know she can take a lot and give it now as well.

Dropping to a defensive position Allie is focused solely on Hannah. Hannah on the other hand is paying no attention to Allie. Watching Allie I see her mind working plotting and waiting for Hannah to make a move. Taking too long Allie does something I never thought she would she taunted Hannah. “either get your head in the challenge or let me go be with my mate.” drawing out the last word almost purring. Hannah’s eyes snap to Allie's anger written all over her face. She finally drops to a fighter's stance. Anger taking over she charges at Allie. Who moves swiftly out of the way. Hannah looks like a bull in a china shop while Allie looks are doing a delicate dance. My eyes followed her every move. Not once did Allie let anger rule her emotions. I was memorized by the graceful dance as she moves over the ground. This is a strategy I had told her to work on in training. She tiring Hannah out while conserving her energy. The way Hannah is charging and throwing wild punches tells me Hannah has skipped one too many training sessions.

A scream comes from the woods not far from where we are standing. It sounds like a small pup. On full alert, I scan the tree line. Linking Allie “keep it up I am going to go check on that. You got this I love you.” Cut the link looking at john who nods. Wade takes up our spots watching over the fight. John and I make our way to the tree line. Glancing at us Allie breaks her contractions for a split second that was all Hannah needed to strike again. Feeling the burn in my cheek I growl. Fighting my wolf to go back. Allie will be fine but the sounds of a hurt pup are something I can not ignore. The deeper into the woods I go the quieter it gets. Turning east toward the sounds of leaves looking for anything that could be making the noise when I feel a sting and burn in my neck followed by numbness. My body gave out dropping me to the ground in a pile. If I could feel I am positive that I would be hurting at the position I am in. Starting to feel groggy when a pair of worn-out leather biker boots are in my line of sight. The stink of rotten flesh and dirt was heavy in the air. Trying to link someone to anyone but nothing. There is nothing I can do but listen my eyes had fallen closed over my eyes dropping me into pure darkness. Several other scents are around I almost for a brief second thought I smelled Sara but it is gone just as fast as it arrived. With a swift hard kick to my ribs, the wolf is saying something but I can't quite catch the words as he kicks me over and over. The only thankful part is right now I can't feel a thing. But on the go, I am so fucked side I can't feel my wolf and my healing is not kicking in. The more he kicks me the weaker I feel. The last thing I hear is a she-wolf calling a name. The name of someone I wanted to find just not like this. “Brent hurry up and get your worthless sister back so we can go.”
