Chapter 100
The following week and a half was a blur of bland cardboard foods and training. Sally and Michaela have been working hard on a memory potion to lock the memories in. The hard part now is not thinking about them. The more I think things over the faster it fades.
We have been watching Bonnie’s cafe since I hung up with Hades, but we have not seen one wolf or black rose pack member near the place. Glen one of our warriors frequents the cafe hoping to catch something. The most he found out was that someone called to have the cafe shut down for that day. I’m gonna go on a limb and say it was Hades.
He seems to be following his stipulations so I feel better about following them as well. The less activity at the cafe relaxes my father some.
The morning of the meeting was here and I was busing my mind with paperwork when the notification of an incoming email sounded. Clicking it open I read.
Cousin I trust you’ve kept an eye as have I so you know we are keeping our word. So I make one last stipulation. No weapons either. That means no silver, night blossom leaf, poisons and potions, charms, and amulets. Anything magically enhanced. Along with traditional weapons.
Nothing on your person and there will be nothing on my person.

Lord alpha Hades
Rolling my eyes. He really refers to himself as lord alpha and he’s not an alpha yet. Nothing has been sent through the packs and he just turned eighteen. He should be out looking for his mate at this time. Well, I should be too, but things happened here. Not so much there in the land of Midas.
Deciding to wear jeans and a button-up with a white tank under hoping it shows I am unarmed. Heading down to the garage to meet with my father and Johnny. It was then I realized I forgot to inform them of the no weapons rule.
“so your not gonna need those, No weapons will be allowed. I guess I can see the point it is a public place with innocent people. So put it all back.” Crossing my arms as they both hug a large knife to them shaking their heads. Rolling my eyes as they slowly put the weapons back in the weapons locker.
Settling in the passenger seat the two toddlers drag their feet back to the truck. “you sure I can’t bring just one something?” “ya, your claws now let’s go I don’t want to be late.” Crossing my arms and huffing at the two grown-ass babies. You would think I took their favorite toy away.
The drive was quiet even though the radio was on low. All three of us just thinking about what we are about to walk into “I know we tend to not always see eye to eye dad but for the love of the pack keep your mouth shut in there. We need to be united under my rule. If you don’t respect me as your alpha in there they won’t respect me as an alpha either.” “honey I respect you as alpha. I always have.” “I know but I’m still your daughter. I’m sure giving up that control over me is what causes the head butts. But please try and forget I’m your daughter for one day” half pleading half ordering. “ill do my best honey.” He nods. Looking over at me. “eyes on the road warrior. Eyes on the fucking road.” Johnny yells from the back seat.
Pulling into the cafe's empty parking lot I take a few moments to scan the area. A lot of humans and odd-smelling people are walking about. Smiling and chatting with themselves and others. A park across the way is full of laughing kids enjoying the first warm day at the end of winter.
Sighing I glance at the clock five minutes until. Well ready or not it’s time. Stepping out into the warm air I take a deep breath. Nothing is screaming danger so I square my shoulders and head for the door.
Stepping through the glass door bells tinkle. At the counter is a huge red-haired green-eyed mountain of a man. He has a very serious look about him. The amount of power rolling off of him is insane. My wolf is torn between pushing her aura out or submitting to him. This must be Vladimir Black, the beta of the black rose.
He turns his head to the left. Following his line of sight, I see Hades glide out from the back. Tall with a light caramel complexion black hair cut close. His strong jaw is covered in a thick five o’clock shadow that screams bad boy. His silver and gold eyes shine with calm power. The room fills with raw burning power so thick I can’t breathe. When Johnny gasps both Hades and Vladimir chuckle and the air clears.
“Please join me, dear cousin.” He holds his hand out to a table in the center of the room. Taking a few steps I notice there are two more chairs than people here. The bells chime. A deep husky very familiar voice fills the room “staring without me jack ass? I said it would only take a second.” Turning around I’m met with a mountain of a man wearing a black eye mask. His blue eyes shine from behind and he steps close to me.
Gasping my heart picks up speed. Telling myself to stay calm and be cool. “hello princess, it’s a pleasure to see you again.” As his finger pushed open the collar of my shirt. “so you finished receiving the brand? Tell me did it hurt?” he smirks at me. Pushing his hand away from me I growl out. “don’t touch me.”
“I do hope you don’t mind I asked a close personal friend to come to keep us both honest. But it seems you’ve already met.” Hades shrugs. “no that’s fine. I’m sorry I don’t think I have had the pleasure. I’m alpha Athena winters and who might you be?”
“So formal now.” My phone chimes. “id look at that princess.” He purrs. Looking at my screen it’s a still image of me in the middle of being taken by the masked mountain. The caption said -did you forget me already?- shoving my phone back into my pocket.
“oh, my goddess you big white cotton ball take that mask off.” An eerie smoky sweet voice sings from behind me. Glancing over my shoulder the young made that delivered my meals for the last month is standing in front of Vladimir. He has his huge hand on her hip. The size difference should be comical but just looks right. Gasping as she finger waves at me.
“Cousin I’d like to introduce you to alpha Tulok snow of the snowpack and child of the cold protector of the truth.” Hade's evil smirk gets bigger as I’m sure my face is flowing with the pure horror of what he just said as I slowly turn to watch the wolf, who took my virginity takes off the mask leaving alpha snow standing in front of me.
